Abstract

The habit of active smokers to smoke is indeed very difficult to stop. There have been many ways to reduce cigarette smoke pollution, one of which is smoking room. However, the existing smoking rooms are less effective in dealing with cigarette smoke pollution. One of them is because the existing smoking room has minimal air circulation which causes smokers not to use the smoking room provided. To make this method effective, a prototype smoking room was designed which was equipped with a cigarette smoke decoder. With this tool, it is expected that in the future active smokers can smoke in an orderly manner and reduce the level of pollution caused by cigarette smoke. The PID system with the Ziegler Nichols method can break down cigarette smoke in a better room smoking room so that it creates effective air circulation in the room. With the MQ-2 sensor to detect smoke and a fan that functions to break down smoke in the room so that the air circulation in the room gets better. Through the research that has been done by the PID controller system with the Ziegler Nichols method in achieving a steady state, it takes a relatively short time. And we can be sure the optimal PID value that has been calculated is a good parameter value. So that the air circulation system in smoking rooms can run faster and efficiently in decomposing smoke. Keywords: Arduino, MQ-2, PID, Ziegler Nichols, Smoking Room Kebiasaan para perokok aktif untuk merokok memang sangat sulit dihentikan. Sudah banyak cara dilakukan untuk mengurangi polusi asap rokok ini salah satunya adalah smoking room. Namun smoking room yang ada saat ini kurang efektif untuk mengatasi polusi asap rokok. Salah satunya dikarenakan smoking room yang ada saat ini memiliki sirkulasi udara yang minim yang menyebabkan para perokok tidak menggunakan smoking room yang telah disediakan. Untuk mengefektif'kan cara tersebut dirancanglah suatu prototipe smoking room yang dilengkapi dengan alat pengurai asap rokok. Dengan adanya alat ini diharapkan ke depannya para perokok aktif dapat merokok dengan tertib dan mengurangi tingkat polusi akibat asap rokok. Sistem PID dengan metode Ziegler Nichols ini dapat mengurai asap rokok di ruangan smoking room lebih baik sehingga mencipakan sirkulasi udara di dalam ruangan secara efektif. Dengan adanya sensor MQ-2 untuk mendeteksi asap serta kipas yang berfungsi mengurai asap di ruangan agar sirkulasi udara di dalam ruangan menjadi lebih baik. Melalui penelitian yang telah dilakukan sistem pengendali PID dengan metode Ziegler Nichols dalam mencapai suatu keadaan steady state membutuhkan waktu yang relatif singkat. Dan dapat dipastikan nilai optimal PID yang sudah dihitung adalah nilai parameter yang baik. Sehingga sistem sirkulasi udara di smoking room dapat berjalan lebih cepat dan efisien dalam penguraian asap. Kata kunci: Arduino, MQ-2, PID, Ziegler Nichols, Smoking Room
