Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of organizational communication, leadership style on employee motivation. This study uses a quantitative type. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression. Research population of all employees of TVRI Nasional head office in Jakarta. The sampling method used is probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique. The sample of this study was 118 samples or respondents. Based on the research, the results show that organizational communication has a significant effect on employee work motivation, leadership style has a significant effect on employee work motivation and organizational communication and influential leadership style together significantly on employee motivation. It is recommended to improve the quality of leaders who are able to give tasks and direct subordinates in a well-structured, clear and detailed and according to procedures, establish good relationships with superiors and subordinates and facilitate a healthy environment for harmonious interaction between employees, and provide opportunities to grow to employees, participate in training programs or provide opportunities for continuing education. Keywords: Organizational Communication, Leadership Style, Work Motivation Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kuantitatif. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Populasi penelitian seluruh karyawan TVRI Nasional kantor pusat di Jakarta. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan teknik sampel simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 118 sampel atau responden. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan, gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan serta komunikasi organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh secara bersama-sama signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Disarankan meningkatkan kualitas pemimpin yang mampu memberikan tugas dan mengarahkan bawahan secara terstruktur dengan baik, jelas dan terperinci serta sesuai prosedur, menjalin hubungan dengan baik dengan atasan dengan bawahannya dan memfasilitasi lingkungan yang sehat untuk keharmonisan interaksi antar karyawan, dan memberikan kesempatan untuk bertumbuh kepada karyawan, mengikutsertakan dalam program pelatihan atau memberikan kesempatan melanjutkan pendidikan.
