Abstract

Internet has become a necessity of various parties in the business world. Business that was previously done conventionally, namely through direct transactions between buyers and sellers, has developed into what is called e-commerce. This study aims to examine the effect of e-commerce on sales volume at Ballin.id. The sales volume in this study is the sales report in the period 2016-2017. This type of research is quantitative with a case study model. The analysis model used in this study is descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing, by first testing the classical assumptions using SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously independent variables of ecommerce costs, website visitors have a significant effect on sales volume of 82.4% while 17.6% are influenced by other variables not included in this study. But partially, only the independent variables of e-commerce costs affect significantly the sales volume, while website visitors have no significant effect on sales volume. Keywords: e-commerce and sales volume Internet telah menjadi suatu keperluan berbagai pihak dalam dunia bisnis. Bisnis yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara konvensional yaitu melalui transaksi langsung antara pembeli dan penjual, telah berkembang menjadi apa yang disebut e-commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh e-commerce terhadap volume penjualan pada Ballin.id. Volume penjualan dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan penjulan pada periode 2016-2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan model study kasus. Model analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, regresi linear berganda dan uji hipotesis, dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji asumsi klasik dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel independen biaya e-commerce, pengunjung website berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume penjualan sebesar 82,4% Sedangkan 17.6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukan dalam penelitian ini. Namun secara parsial, hanya variabel independen biaya e-commerce yang mempengarui secara signifikan terhadap volume penjualan, sedangkan pengunjung website tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume penjualan.
