Abstract

Social media Instagram is now very popular used by many people to communicate, send messages, share, and to search for data or information. It is used by various teenagers to pour their creative ideas one of them music that does not use the tool that is Beatbox. This study uses the foundation of Intrapersonal Communication theory that explains the activities of individuals who are thinking, speaking, and writing, for themselves, often aiming to explain ideas or analyze situations. This research also uses the concept of Public Relations, the concept of social media instagram, and the concept of adolescent creativity. The research approach used in this research is quantitative with explanative research method and disseminate data through questionnaire with 48 statements and distributed to 77 respondents in Beatbox Community JABODETABEK using social media instagram. Based on the results of research social media variables instagram positive effect on creativity of teenagers in Beatbox community JABODETABEK with a value of 0.830. Keywords: Social media instagram, adolescent creativity, intrapresonal communication Media sosial Instagram kini sangat marak digunakan oleh banyak orang untuk berkomunikasi, mengirim pesan, berbagi, dan untuk mencari data atau informasi. Hal ini dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai macam kalangan remaja untuk menuangkan ide-ide kreatif mereka salah satunya musik yang tidak menggunakan alat yaitu Beatbox. Penelitian ini menggunakan landasan teori Komunikasi Intrapersonal yang menjelaskan aktivitas individu yang sedang berfikir, berbicara, dan menulis, untuk dirinya sendiri, seringkali bertujuan untuk menjelaskan ide-ide atau menganalisis situasi. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan konsep Public Relations, konsep media sosial instagram, dan konsep kreativitas remaja. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksplanatif dan menyebarkan data melalui kuesioner dengan 48 pernyataan dan disebarkan ke 77 responden di Komunitas Beatbox JABODETABEK yang menggunakan media sosial instagram. Berdasarakan hasil penelitian variabel media sosial instagram berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas remaja di Komunitas Beatbox JABODETABEK dengan nilai 0.830. Kata Kunci : Media sosial instagram, kreativitas remaja, komunikasi intrapersonal
