Abstract
The rigid of industrial competition makes Industrial owners to be creative in managing their business, one of which is in the management and planning of raw materials in the industry. UD. Hotma Jaya is one of small and medium enterprises engaged in the manufacture of equipment made of glass and aluminum. One of the many products in UD. Hotma Jaya is a door product with its frame, in 1 year can receive order about 122 units. Constraints experienced in making these products is the problem of availability of raw materials that have not been able to run well because there is no system that regulates the procurement process of raw materials. This study aims to determine the type of forecasting and master production schedule and lot decision form in accordance with the UD Hotma Jaya production system. Determination of forecasting method is done by determining the value of MAD, MSE and MAPE, so get the best result that is double exponential smoothing method (DES) with error value MAD, MSE, MAPE that is 1.95, 5.5, 20%. Then determined MPS based on forecasting results with DES method for 2018. After the MPS results, determination of lot sizing method is done by comparing the method of Lot for lot, Periodic Order Quantity and Fixed Periodic Ratio. Comparison of the lowest inventory value is done for 5 raw materials which have long lead time time that is glass, open back, aluminum 2013, stopper and alumunium 2000. The result obtained by lot for lot method is lowest cost of inventory, that is for glass Rp. 141.000, Open back, aluminum 2013, stopper Rp. 144,000, and Aluminum 2000 Rp.149.700 Keywords: MRP, Frame, Door, Master Production Schedule, Aluminum Persaingan industri yang semakin ketat membuat para pelaku Industri harus kreatif dalam pengelolaan bisnisnya, salah satunya adalah dalam pengelolaan dan perencanaan bahan baku dalam industrinya. UD. Hotma Jaya merupakan salah satu usaha kecil dan menengah yang bergerak dalam bidang industry pembuatan alat-alat yang berbahan dasar kaca dan alumunium. Salah satu produk yang banyak di UD. Hotma Jaya adalah produk pintu beserta kusennya, dalam 1 tahun dapat menerima pesanan sekitar 122 unit. Kendala yang dialami dalam pembuatan produk tersebut adalah masalah ketersediaan bahan baku yang belum dapat berjalan dengan baik dikarenakan belum adanya suatu sistem yang mengatur proses pengadaan bahan baku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis peramalan dan jadwal produksi induk dan bentuk lot decision yang sesuai dengan sistem produksi UD. Hotma Jaya. Penentuan metode peramalan dilakukan dengan menentukan nilai MAD, MSE dan MAPE, sehingga didapatkan hasil terbaik yaitu metode double exponential smoothing (DES) dengan nilai eror MAD,MSE, MAPE yaitu 1.95, 5.5, 20%. Kemudian ditentukan JIP berdasarkan hasil peramalan dengan metode DES untuk tahun 2018. Setelah diketahui hasil JIP, penentuan metode lot sizing dilakukan dengan membandingkan metode Lot for lot, Periodic Order Quantity dan Fixed Periodic Ratio. Perbandingan nilai persediaan terendah dilakukan untuk 5 bahan baku yang memil iki waktu lead time yang lama yaitu kaca, open back, alumunium 2013, stopper dan alumunium 2000. Hasil yang didapatkan metode lot for lot yang paling rendah biaya persediaannya, yaitu untuk kaca sebesar Rp. 141.000, Open back, alumunium 2013, stopper Rp. 144.000, dan Alumunium 2000 Rp.149.700 Kata Kunci : MRP, Kusen, Pintu, Jadwal Produksi Induk, Alumunium
