Abstract

Lembaga bimbingan belajar sebagai suatu lembaga yang bergerak di bidang layanan/jasa, mempunyai prinsip memberikan kepuasan layanan kepada peserta didik dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kepuasan peserta didik merupakan salah satu barometer keberhasilan suatu lembaga bimbingan belajar dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Untuk mencapai harapan yang inginkan oleh para peserta didik, maka pendekatan ke arah penerapan prinsip-prinsip Total Quality Services (TQS) perlu dilakukan oleh lembaga bimbingan belajar. Pelaksanaan hal tersebut dilakukan secara bertahap dimulai dari hal-hal yang dianggap memiliki prioritas tertinggi. Prioritas yang perlu diperhatikan diantaranya adalah kemampuan tenaga pendidik dan motivasi tenaga pendidik. Dari apa yang sudah dijabarkan di atas, maka tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara kemampuan dan motivasi tenaga pendidik terhadap kepuasan peserta didik. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka dilakukan survei dengan cara memberikan kuesioner kepada para peserta didik yang belajar di suatu lembaga bimbingan belajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik dari data, diperoleh hasil: 1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan tenaga pendidik terhadap kepuasan peserta didik. 2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi tenga pendidik terhadap kepuasan peserta didik. 3) ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kemampuan dan motivasi tenaga pendidik terhadap kepuasan peserta didik. Dari hasil analisis tersebut, maka hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah: 1) seorang tenaga pendidik perlu memiliki kemampuan dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. 2) seorang tenaga pendidik memerlukan motivasi dalam melaksankan proses pembelajaran. 3) kemampuan dan motivasi yang dimiliki oleh tenaga pendidik akan mampu memberikan kepuasan kepada peserta didik, kepuasan peserta didik pada akhirnya nanti dapat mempertahankan keberadaan mereka dalam lembaga bimbingan belajar. Kata kunci: lembaga bimbingan belajar, layanan, pembelajaran, kemampuan, motivasi, tenaga pendidik, peserta didik, kepuasan. Tutoring institutions as an institution engaged in the services, have principles providing services to the satisfaction of students in the implementation process of learning. Students satisfaction is one of barometer to success for a tutoring institutions in performing their duties. To achieve the desired expectations of the students, the approach towards the application of the principles of Total Quality Services (TQS) needs to be done by the tutoring institutions. Implementation of this is done in stages starting from the things that are considered to have the highest priority. Priorities that need attention among educators is the ability and motivation of educators. From what has been described above, the purpose of research is to find out how the relationship between ability and motivation of educators to students satisfaction. To achieve this objective, the survey conducted by giving questionnaires to the students who learn at a tutoring institutions. Based on the results of statistical analysis of the data, obtained results: 1) there is a significant influence between the ability of educators to students satisfaction. 2) there is a significant influence between motivation of educators to students satisfaction. 3) there is a significant influence jointly between the ability and motivation of educators to students satisfaction. From the results of the analysis, then the things to note are: 1) an educators need to have the ability to implement the learning process. 2) an educators, need motivation in carrying out the learning process. 3) the ability and motivation are owned by educators will be able to give satisfaction to the students, students satisfaction in the end can maintain their presence in tutoring institutions.
