Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Green Commuter campaign by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia regarding Water Stations on the environmental awareness attitudes of KRL users at Tanah Abang Station, using the Ostergaard campaign model. The Green Commuter campaign through the provision of Water Stations was initiated as a form of PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia’s commitment to encouraging public awareness of the importance of environmental protection, particularly in efforts to reduce the use of single-use plastic waste. This study employs a quantitative approach with a positivist paradigm and a causal research design. The research population consists of KRL users at Tanah Abang Station, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling technique through convenience sampling. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis techniques used include simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, correlation analysis, and t-test. The results show that the Green Commuter campaign by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia regarding Water Stations has a positive and significant effect on the environmental awareness attitudes of KRL users at Tanah Abang Station, with a coefficient of determination of 71.3%. Furthermore, the t-test results indicate that the calculated t-value of 15.605 is greater than the t-table value of 1.984, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Green Commuter campaign through Water Stations is effective in improving the environmental awareness attitudes of public transportation users. Keywords: Campaign, KRL, Environmental Awareness Attitude, PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (PT KCI) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kampanye Green Commuter PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia mengenai Water Station terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan pengguna KRL Stasiun Tanah Abang, dengan menggunakan model kampanye Ostergaard. Kampanye Green Commuter melalui penyediaan Water Station diinisiasikan sebagai bentuk komitmen PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia dalam mendorong kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, khususnya dalam upaya mengurangi penggunaan sampah plastik sekali pakai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan paradigma positivisme dan desain kausal. Populasi penelitian adalah pengguna KRL Stasiun Tanah Abang, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling melalui metode convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji regresi linear sederhana, uji koefisien determinasi, uji korelasi, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kampanye Green Commuter PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia mengenai Water Station berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan pengguna KRL Stasiun Tanah Abang, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 71,3%. Selain itu, hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 15,605 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,984 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kampanye Green Commuter melalui Water Station efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan pengguna transportasi publik.
