Abstract

Acting as both a worker and a housewife certainly places a double burden on women. Women are asked to be responsible for working where they work, while on the other hand they also have to prioritize their family as the role of housewife. When a woman's career cannot balance both roles, she will automatically experience conflict. So that everything can run well, career women must achieve a balance between their two roles. By analyzing through a quantitative approach, this research examines the influence of social support, flexible work arrangements, and work stress on work-life balance. The sampling method in this research is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this research consisted of 100 career female respondents in West Jakarta. Data was obtained through a g-form questionnaire and then analyzed using the Smart PLS version 24 application with the SEM method. The results of the study showed that the social support variable had a t-statistic value of 4.179> t-table 1.984 with a significance value (0.000 <0.05), flexible work arrangements had a t-statistic influence value of 10.975> t-table 1.984 with a significance value (0.000 <0.05), and work stress had a t-statistic value of 3.418> t-table 1.984 with a significance value (0.001 <0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that social support, flexible work arrangements, and work stress have a significant positive effect on work-life balance. Keywords: Career Women, Social Support, Flexible Working Arrangement, Work Stress, Work-Life Balance Bertindak sebagai pekerja dan ibu rumah tangga tentu saja memberi beban ganda bagi perempuan. Wanita diminta untuk bertanggung jawab bekerja di tempat mereka bekerja, sementara di sisi lain mereka juga harus mengutamakan keluarga sebagai peran ibu rumah tangga. Ketika karir seorang wanita tidak bisa menyeimbangkan kedua peran tersebut, otomatis dia akan mengalami konflik. Sehingga agar semuanya dapat berjalan dengan baik, maka wanita karir harus berprestasi keseimbangan antar peran keduanya. Dengan menganalisis melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh dukungan sosial, flexible working arrangement, dan stress kerja terhadap work-life balance. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden wanita karir di Jakarta Barat. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner berupa g-form kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi Smart PLS versi 24 dengan metode SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel dukungan sosial mempunyai nilai t-statistik sebesar 4,179 > t- tabel 1,984 dengan nilai signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05), flexible working arrangement mempunyai pengaruh nilai t-statistik sebesar 10,975 > t-tabel 1,984 dengan nilai signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05), dan stress kerja mempunyai nilai t-statistik sebesar 3,418 > t-tabel 1,984 dengan nilai signifikansi (0,001 < 0,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan sosial, flexible working arrangement, dan stress kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap work-life balance.
