Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Firm Size (FS) on profit growth. This is a quantitative research with a causal design, focusing on cause-and-effect relationships. The data used are secondary data. The population of the study consists of 46 companies in the tourism, hotel, and restaurant industries. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, resulting in 15 samples of companies in the tourism, hotel, and restaurant sectors, based on criteria set by the researcher. Data analysis is conducted using panel data regression with Eviews 12 software. The results show that Current Ratio (CR) has a significant negative effect on profit growth, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Firm Size (FS) do not affect profit growth, while Total Assets Turnover (TATO) has a significant positive effect on profit growth. Keywords: CR, DER, TATO, Firm Size, Profit Growth, tourism, hotel, restaurant industries Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), dan Firm Size (FS) terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kausalitas atau hubungan sebab akibat. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 46 perusahaan industri pariwisata, hotel, dan restoran. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dan didapatkan sebanyak 15 sampel perusahaan industri pariwisata, hotel, dan restoran, dihitung berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan peneliti. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan software Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Current Ratio (CR) berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Firm Size (FS) tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Total Assets Turnover (TATO) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Kata Kunci: CR, DER, TATO, Firm size, Pertumbuhan Laba, Industri Pariwisata, Hotel, dan Restoran
