Abstract
With economic growth and the expansion of the creative industry, the demand for modern collaborative spaces for creative professionals has significantly increased. A Creative Hub serves as a central location where individuals and groups can meet, share ideas, and develop innovative projects. The Indonesian Law No. 24 of 2019 on Creative Economy highlights the responsibility of the government and local authorities in developing the creative economy ecosystem through various means, including infrastructure provision and funding facilities. Bandung, known as a creative hub in Indonesia and a member of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network, holds significant potential for developing a Creative Hub as a center for creative collaboration. Modern architecture, emphasizing functionality and efficiency, offers a flexible and adaptive design solution to meet the diverse needs of creative activities. Implementing modern architectural approaches in Creative Hub design can enhance the city’s visual appeal and identity, while also providing an inspiring and supportive environment for creative collaboration. Thus, modern architecture has substantial potential in creating effective and innovative Creative Hubs in Bandung, strengthening its position as a global creative city. Seiring dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan perkembangan industri kreatif, kebutuhan akan ruang kolaboratif yang modern bagi profesional kreatif meningkat pesat. Creative Hub berfungsi sebagai pusat kegiatan kreatif di mana individu dan kelompok dapat berinteraksi, berbagi ide, dan mengembangkan proyek-proyek inovatif. Undang-Undang No. 24 Tahun 2019 tentang Ekonomi Kreatif menekankan tanggung jawab pemerintah dan pemerintah daerah dalam mengembangkan ekosistem ekonomi kreatif melalui berbagai sarana, termasuk penyediaan infrastruktur dan fasilitas pendanaan. Kota Bandung, yang dikenal sebagai pusat kreativitas di Indonesia dan anggota Jaringan Kota Kreatif UNESCO, memiliki potensi besar untuk mengembangkan Creative Hub sebagai pusat kolaborasi kreatif. Arsitektur modern, dengan fokus pada fungsionalitas dan efisiensi, menawarkan solusi desain yang fleksibel dan adaptif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan berbagai aktivitas kreatif. Implementasi arsitektur modern dalam desain Creative Hub tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan daya tarik visual dan identitas kota, tetapi juga menyediakan ruang yang inspiratif dan mendukung kolaborasi kreatif. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan arsitektur modern berpotensi besar dalam menciptakan Creative Hub yang efektif dan inovatif di Bandung, memperkuat posisinya sebagai kota kreatif global.
