Abstract

The phenomenon of natural destruction and global warming that is attack the earth presents the concept of green building to solve the problem. Green building is defined as an approach to planning and building design through a process that concerns the surrounding environment. Green Building is a building which since its design, construction, operation, and maintenance exhibits aspect of preserve, retench, and diminish natural resources usage based on the continuous establishment regulation. Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) has rating system called GREENSHIP. Greenship use scoring criteria based on local regulation. The standard expected in Greenship application is a green environment-friendly building. In the assessment aspect of GREENSHIP GBCI, there are six categories, as follows: Appropriate Site Development (ASD), Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC), Water Conservation (WAC), Material Resources and Cycle (MRC), Indoor Health and Comfort (IHC), and Building Environment Management (BEM). As for Greenship for existing building, green building rating assessment is based on following elements: precondition, regular, and bonus rating. This study aims to evaluate the concept of green building in Sarinah Central Jakarta based on energy efficiency criteria. Methods used in a piece of writing scientific is writing descriptive qualitative namely explained and outline through a method of the literature study by looking at and comparing sources relevant to case study observed. The data that has been collected next analyzed by technique descriptive qualitative and drawn conclusion. From the result of the study, Sarinah Building at Central Jakarta get 16 points out of a total 36 points, or approximately 44,44% rating level for EEC. For the recommendation of energy efficiency criteria, the manager of the building is advised to do re- commissioning periodically, procure the kWh meter which is divided into air system, light system, and others. In addition, the building manager should start replaced all the existing lamps in the Sarinah Building at Central Jakarta, into Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps. Fenomena kerusakan alam dan pemanasan global yang sedang melanda bumi ini menghadirkan konsep green building untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Green building didefinisikan sebagai pendekatan sebuah perencanaan dan perancangan bangunan melalui sebuah proses yang memperhatikan lingkungan sekitarnya. Green Building adalah bangunan yang sejak mulai dalam tahap perencanaan, pembangunan, pengoperasian hingga dalam operasional pemeliharaannya memperlihatkan aspek-aspek dalam melindungi, menghemat, serta mengurangi penggunaan sumber daya alam yang semuanya berpegang pada kaidah pembangunan yang berkesinambungan. Green Building Council Indonesa (GBCI) saat ini telah memiliki rating sistem bernama GREENSHIP. Greenship menggunakan kriteria penilaian berdasarkan peraturan lokal. Standar yang diharapkan dalam aplikasi Greenship adalah bangunan ramah lingkungan. Dalam aspek penilaian GREENSHIP GBCI, ada enam kategori, sebagai berikut: Tepat Guna Lahan (ASD), Efisiensi dan Konservasi Energi (EEC), Konservasi Air (WAC), Sumber dan Siklus Material (MRC), Kesehatan dan Kenyamanan dalam Ruang (IHC), dan Manajemen Lingkungan Bnagunan (BEM). Sesuai Greenship untuk gedung terbangun (existing building), perhitungan rating green building didasarkan pada unsur-unsur, antara lain: rating prasyarat, rating biasa, dan rating bonus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi konsep green building pada Gedung Sarinah Jakarta Pusat berdasarkan kriteria efisiensi energi. Metode yang digunakan pada karya tulis ilmiah ini yaitu penulisan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu menjelaskan dan menjabarkan melalui metode studi pustaka dengan mengkaji dan membandingkan sumber-sumber yang relevan dengan studi kasus yang diamati. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan ditarik kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian, Gedung Sarinah Jakarta Pusat mendapatkan 16 poin dari total maksimum 36 poin atau sekitar 44,44% untuk keriteria EEC. Untuk rekomendasi kriteria efisiensi energi, pengelola gedung disarankan melakukan komisioning ulang secara berkala, melakukan pengadaan terhadap kWh meter yang terbagi menjadi sistem udara, sistem cahaya, dan lain lain. Disamping itu, pengelola gedung sebaiknya segera mengganti semua lampu yang ada di Gedung Sarinah Jakarta Pusat menjadi lampu Light Emitting Diode (LED).
