Abstract
Early education is important for children's development, especially in understanding and managing emotions. This study designed an interactive pop-up book for children aged 3-6 years entitled "The Adventure of Arka and 6 Monster Feelings," aiming to help children understand and manage emotions by presenting fun media using interactive and visual book media that is easy for young children to digest. The research method involves observation, surveys, interviews, and literature studies to understand the needs of children and the effectiveness of educational methods. The book consists of 18 pages with interactive elements such as six feeling monster characters, Arka and Ammy characters, and a maze maze game. The design of this book prioritizes the pop-up technique so that children can interact directly, making it more fun and effective. Supporting media such as stickers, mugs, pins, and notebooks will add to the learning experience. With this approach, it is hoped that children can more easily understand and manage their emotions while increasing their involvement in reading. Pendidikan dini penting untuk perkembangan anak, terutama dalam pemahaman dan pengelolaan emosi. Penelitian ini merancang buku interaktif pop up untuk anak usia 3-6 tahun berjudul "Petualangan Arka dan 6 Monster Perasaan," bertujuan membantu anak memahami dan mengelola emosi dengan cara menyajikan media yang menyenangkan menggunakan media buku interaktif dan visual yang mudah dicerna oleh anak kecil. Metode penelitian melibatkan observasi, survei, wawancara, dan studi pustaka untuk memahami kebutuhan anak dan efektivitas metode edukasi. Buku ini terdiri dari 18 halaman dengan elemen interaktif seperti enam karakter monster perasaan, karakter Arka dan Ammy, serta game maze labirin. Desain buku ini mengutamakan teknik pop up agar anak dapat berinteraksi langsung, menjadikannya lebih menyenangkan dan efektif. Media pendukung seperti stiker, mug, pin, dan notebook akan menambah pengalaman belajar. Dengan pendekatan ini, diharapkan anak-anak dapat lebih mudah memahami dan mengelola emosi mereka sambil meningkatkan keterlibatan dalam membaca.
