Abstract
Namniwel Airport – Namlea, is a third class domestic airport located in Sawa Village, Lilialy District, Buru Regency, Maluku. This airport is managed by the Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Currently the aircraft in operation is the ATR 72-600 aircraft type and it is considered as the most critical aircraft with a runway length of 1600 m and a width of 30 m. Furthermore, along with the increase in population, tourism activities and gold mining activities in Namlea, the aircraft which will operate is A320-200 aircraft and it will be the most critical aircraft. With the dimensions of the runway and the existing pavement thickness it is not yet capable of serving A320-200 aircraft. The aim of this study is to know the required runway length and width, pavement thickness and Pavement Classification Number (PCN) in order to determine runway dimensions by using the Aeroplane Reference Field Length (ARFL) in SKEP/77/VI/2005. It used FAA Airport Pavement Design and Evaluation manual method, A No: 150/5320-6d, and FAARFIELD software in order to calculate runway pavement thickness and provisions in KP 93 of 2015 to determine the PCN value. Based on the results of data analysis using the ARFL method, FAA manual method, FAARFIELD software and provisions in KP 93 of 2015, in order to serve critical A320-200 type aircraft, a runway extension of 950 m, a width of 15 m and an overlay of 2 inches is required so that the PCN value will be increases to 36 F/B/X/T. Bandar Udara Namniwel – Namlea, merupakan Bandar Udara domestic kelas tiga yang terletak di Desa Sawa, Kecamatan Lilialy, Kabupaten Buru, Maluku. Bandar Udara ini dikelola oleh Kementerian Perhubungan, Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara. Pada saat ini pesawat yang beroperasi yaitu jenis pesawat ATR 72-600 dan merupakan pesawat terkritis dengan panjang landas pacu 1600 m dan lebar 30 m. Seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, kegiatan pariwisata dan kegiatan tambang emas yang ada di Namlea, maka pesawat yang akan beroperasi yaitu jenis pesawat A320-200 dan akan menjadi pesawat terkritis. Dengan dimensi landas pacu dan tebal perkerasan eksisting belum mampu untuk melayani pesawat A320-200. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan kebutuhan panjang dan lebar landas pacu, tebal perkerasan dan Pavement Classification Number (PCN) untuk menentukan dimensi landasan pacu, menggunakan Aeroplane Reference Field Length (ARFL) pada SKEP/77/VI/2005. Metode manual FAA Airport Pavement Design and Evaluation, A No : 150/5320-6d, dan Software FAARFIELD untuk menghitung tebal perkerasan landasan pacu dan ketentuan pada KP 93 Tahun 2015 untuk menentukan nilai PCN. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode ARFL, metode manual FAA, software FAARFIELD dan ketentuan di KP 93 Tahun 2015, ntuk melayani pesawat kritis jenis A320-200, diperlukan perpanjangan landas pacu sebesar 950 m, lebar 15 m dan overlay 2 inci sehingga nilai PCN akan meningkat menjadi 36 F/B/X/T.
