Abstract
This final project aims to develop the interior design of the Gandaria library in South Jakarta with a modern classic concept. Libraries are very important public facilities that provide access to information and knowledge for the community. However, library interior design is not yet optimal to create a comfortable and effective environment for reading and studying. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method, with data collection through interviews with library users and staff. The data obtained will be processed through thematic analysis to determine the needs and preferences of library users and staff regarding library interior design. The results of this study will be used to create a conceptual design for library interior design with a modern classic concept. The design will prioritize the comfort and functionality of the library space, by integrating classic elements to create an elegant and timeless atmosphere. The results of this study will assist in the development of more effective and efficient library interior design, which will improve the user experience and encourage more frequent use of the library. It is hoped that the modern classical concept used in this study will become a reference for other libraries that wish to use the modern classical concept. Keywords: Library, Interior, Modern, Classic Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perancangan interior perpustakaan Gandaria di Jakarta Selatan dengan konsep modern klasik. Perpustakaan merupakan fasilitas publik yang sangat penting yang menyediakan akses informasi dan ilmu bagi masyarakat. Namun, perancangan interior perpustakaan belum optimal untuk membuat lingkungan yang nyaman dan efektif untuk membaca dan belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan pengguna dan staf perpustakaan. Data yang diperoleh akan diproses melalui analisis tematik untuk menentukan kebutuhan dan preferensi pengguna dan staf perpustakaan mengenai perancangan interior perpustakaan. Hasil dari studi ini akan digunakan untuk membuat desain konseptual dari perancangan interior perpustakaan dengan konsep modern klasik. Desain akan prioritaskan kenyamanan dan fungsionalitas ruang perpustakaan, dengan mengintegrasikan elemen klasik untuk membuat atmosfer yang elegan dan timeless. Hasil dari studi ini akan membantu dalam pengembangan perancangan interior perpustakaan yang lebih efektif dan efisien, yang akan memperbaiki pengalaman pengguna dan mendorong penggunaan perpustakaan lebih sering. Konsep modern klasik yang digunakan dalam studi ini diharapkan akan menjadi referensi bagi perpustakaan lain yang ingin menggukan konsep modern klasik.
