Abstract
The Department Monitoring System (SIMODIS) has become a key element in optimizing administrative and managerial performance in the education sector. This study aimed to analyze the implementation and performance of SIMODIS in the Sudin Pendidikan Wilayah II of the Central Jakarta. The study used a descriptive-qualitative analysis method to collect and analyze data related to the implementation and performance of SIMODIS. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and document study. The results of the study showed that SIMODIS has become a vital tool in managing information related to education administration and management in the Sudin Pendidikan Wilayah II of the Central Jakarta. The system facilitates efficient data recording and reporting, improves the accuracy of information, and accelerates the decision-making process. However, there are some challenges related to the use of this system, including the level of adequacy of training and technical support for users. The study concluded that SIMODIS makes a significant contribution to improving operational efficiency and effectiveness in the Sudin Pendidikan Wilayah II of the Central Jakarta. Recommendations are given to improve training and technical support, and to continue monitoring and evaluating the performance of this system to ensure its optimal use in supporting activities in the area. Keywords: analysis,COBIT 5.0, monitoring system Sistem Monitoring Dinas (SIMODIS) telah menjadi salah satu elemen penting dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja administratif dan manajerial di sektor pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dan kinerja SIMODIS di Sudin Pendidikan Wilayah II Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif-kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data terkait implementasi dan kinerja SIMODIS. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIMODIS telah menjadi alat yang vital dalam mengelola informasi terkait administrasi dan manajemen pendidikan di Sudin Pendidikan Wilayah II Jakarta Pusat. Sistem ini memfasilitasi pencatatan dan pelaporan data secara efisien, meningkatkan akurasi informasi, dan mempercepat proses pengambilan keputusan. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan terkait penggunaan sistem ini, termasuk tingkat kecukupan pelatihan dan dukungan teknis bagi pengguna. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa SIMODIS memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional di Sudin Pendidikan Wilayah II Jakarta Pusat. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan pelatihan dan dukungan teknis, serta untuk terus memantau dan mengevaluasi kinerja sistem ini guna memastikan penggunaannya yang optimal dalam mendukung memonitoring kegiatan di wilayah tersebut.
