Abstract

"The Way Time Goes" is a short film that focuses on time management among teenagers in big cities, especially Jabodetabek. This film tells the story of a teenager who is busy as a freelancer and final year student. He has problems with time management, which results in wasting his time, until finally he meets a friend who is more experienced and gets input on how to manage time properly. true with simple things. This design aims to create a social campaign with the main medium being short films, to provide understanding to teenagers so that they are able to prioritize their time from the most important things, to the things they like. With a target audience of teenagers, this design uses a short film format with an experimental style to attract the attention of the target audience so they can understand the meaning of the message to be conveyed in the short film. From the results of the exhibition that was held to show this short film, it has been proven that this short film was able to convey the results of the response it received. It is hoped that this short film can be an illustration of how to manage time in a simple way for teenagers. "The Way Time Goes" adalah sebuah film pendek yang mengangkat tentang manajemen waktu di kalangan remaja kota-kota besar khususnya Jabodetabek. Film ini mengisahkan tentang seorang remaja yang memiliki kesibukan freelancer serta mahasiswa tingkat akhir, ia memiliki masalah terhadap manajemen waktu, yang mengakibatkan penyia-nyiaan waktu yang di alami olehnya, hingga akhirnya ia bertemu dengan temannya yang lebih berpengalaman dan mendapat masukan bagaimana cara manajemen waktu yang benar dengan hal yang sederhana. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat kampanye sosial dengan media utama film pendek, guna memberikan pemahaman terhadap remaja agar mereka mampu memprioritaskan waktu mereka dari hal yang terpenting, hingga hal-hal yang mereka sukai. Dengan target audiens remaja, maka perancangan ini menggunakan format film pendek dengan gaya eksperimental guna menarik perhatian target audiens agar mampu mengerti arti dari pesan yang ingin disampaikan dalam film pendek. Dari hasil pameran yang telah di selenggarakan guna mempertontonkan film pendek ini telah terbukti bahwa film pendek ini mampu tersampaikan dari hasil respon yang telah di terima. Diharapkan film pendek ini mampu menjadi gambaran bagaimana memanajemen waktu dengan cara yang sederhana pada remaja.
