Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence job satisfaction of ASN employees of the DKI Jakarta Province Education Office. The benefit of this research is to solve the problem of job satisfaction of ASN employees of the Jakarta Province Education Office. The population of this study were ASN employees at Jakarta Province Education Office with a sample size of 130 employees with an observation period of 2024. The dependent variable in this study is job satisfaction, while the independent variables used are leadership and organizational commitment, with the intervening variable used is work motivation. This research is a quantitative research with data analysis method using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that leadership and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, leadership and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, leadership has no effect on job satisfaction through work motivation, organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction through work motivation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan kerja pegawai ASN Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan masalah kepuasan kerja pegawai ASN Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah pegawai ASN pada Dinas Pendidikan DKI Jakarta dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 130 pegawai dengan periode pengamatan tahun 2024. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja, sedangkan variabel independen yang digunakan adalah kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi, dengan variabel intervening yang digunakan adalah motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi kerja, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi kerja.
