Abstract

The planning of MICE development in the KAI Corporate University Complex is expected to design MICE buildings that contribute greatly to creating a corporate culture that is learning and innovative and can bring great benefits to the company and employees. Planning a unique design, physical and visual quality that is in accordance with the MICE building eligibility standards and strengthening the identity/image of KAI as a whole. Planning supporting facilities that are of good quality and of international standards. MICE buildings that are focal points in urban areas with the characteristic of a biophilic approach design in buildings with exterior areas that are interconnected with nature. Commercial and recreational activities become one unit as the KAI Corporate veranda. Veranda means an open roofed space or terrace that is the image of the KAI Corporate MICE building that optimizes urban needs into one unit. Prioritizing access for pedestrians, visitors, managers, tenants, connecting public spaces. The approach of natural elements into space, analogies, and the nature of space in buildings blends with nature and as the KAI Corporate veranda that is interconnected with nature. The veranda as the focal point of KAI's identity and livable which creates public space in the courtyard into a shady area, that the building is oriented towards the future as an icon in the city of Bandung. Keywords: MICE Design, MICE Building, Neo-Vernacular Perencanaan pengembangan MICE di Komplek KAI Corporate University diharapkan dapat merancang bangunan MICE yang banyak berkontribusi dalam menciptakan budaya perusahaan yang pembelajar dan inovatif serta dapat membawa manfaat besar bagi perusahaan dan karyawan. Merencanakan desain unik, kualitas fisik dan visual yang sesuai dengan standar kelayakan bangunan MICE serta memperkuat identitas/citra KAI secara keseluruhan. Merencanakan fasilitas pendukungnya yang berkualitas baik dan berstandar internasional. Bangunan MICE yang menjadi focal point di perkotaan dengan ciri khas desain pendekatan biofilik pada bangunan dengan area eksterior yang saling terkoneksi alam. Kegiatan komersial, rekreasi menjadi satu kesatuan sebagai beranda KAI Corporate. Beranda berarti ruang beratap yang terbuka atau teras yang menjadi citra bangunan MICE KAI Corporate yang mengoptimalkan kebutuhan di perkotaan menjadi satu kesatuan. Mengutamakan akses pejalan kaki, pengunjung, pengelola, penyewa, public space yang connecting. Pendekatan unsur alam ke dalam ruang, analogi, dan sifat ruang pada bangunan menyatu dengan alam dan sebagai beranda KAI Corporate yang saling terkoneksi alam. Beranda sebagai focal point identitas KAI serta livable yang menciptakan public space dalam courtyard menjadi kawasan teduh, bahwa bangunan berorientasi ke masa depan sebagai ikonik di Kota Bandung.
