Abstract
The problem of abandoned children is one of the biggest problems in Indonesia. For this reason, children need to be rehabilitated to treat psychological problems resulting from the violence or neglect they have experienced. Apart from providing remedial therapy, a level of comfort is needed to support the child's recovery. Currently, there are various places to encourage and improve children's conditions physically, mentally or spiritually. One of them is the Putra Utama 3 Children's Orphanage. Because the Children's Orphanage is a social institution that works as a home and educates neglected children so that these children can grow and develop healthily. With the characters of the children in the orphanage varying according to their age and life history, the Putra Utama 3 Children's Orphanage needs to be reorganized by maximizing the Healing Environment concept that has been used by the Putra Utama 3 Children's Orphanage and developed with Biophilic Design, with research into the elements- interior elements that are good for the psychology of the residents which can influence the rehabilitation and rehabilitation of victims of child abuse and neglect and determine the division of space that is effective and in accordance with the activities and space needs of the residents. This research was carried out through analysis of various relevant literature studies and direct observation studies using quantitative research methods and the results of this research are expected to maximize the Healing Environment and Biophilic Design concepts which can have a positive impact on residents. Keywords: Abandoned children, Putra Utama 3 Children's Orphanage, resident behavior, Healing Environment. Biophilic Design Permasalahan anak terlantar merupakan salah satu masalah terbesar di Indonesia. Untuk itu, anak perlu direhabilitasi untuk penanganan masalah psikologis akibat kekerasan maupun rasa ketelantaran yang dialaminya. Selain memberikan terapi remedial, diperlukan tingkat kenyamanan untuk mendukung pemulihan anak. Untuk saat ini, ada berbagai tempat untuk mendorong dan memperbaiki kondisi anak secara fisik, mental atau spiritual. Salah satunya adalah Panti Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 3. Karena Panti Asuhan Anak merupakan salah satu lembaga sosial yang bekerja sebagai rumah dan mendidik anak-anak telantar agar anak-anak tersebut dapat tumbuh dan berkembang secara sehat. Dengan karakter anak di panti asuhan yang beragam sesuai usia dan riwayat hidup mereka, sehingga Panti Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 3 perlu ditata ulang dengan pemaksimalan konsep Healing Environment yang telah digunakan oleh Panti Asuhan Anak Putra 3 dan dikembangkan dengan Biophilic Design, dengan adanya penelitian elemen-elemen interior yang baik bagi psikologis para penghuni yang dapat mempengaruhi penyembuhan rehabilitasi korban kekerasan dan penelantaran anak dan menentukan pembagian ruang yang efektif dan sesuai dengan kegiatan serta kebutuhan ruang para penghuni. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui analisis berbagai studi literatur dan studi observasi langsung yang relevan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitaif dan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan konsep Healing Environment dan Biophilic Design dapat berdampak positif terhadap penghuni.
