Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the variables Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA) on stock returns, research subjects are transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This data source uses secondary data in the form of financial reports from each Transportation Company from 2016-2020. The population of this research is 25 transportation companies, and the sample consists of 10 transportation companies using purposive sampling. This study uses panel data regression data analysis techniques using the EVIEWS 12 application, and it was found that the more appropriate model to use is the Random Effect Model. From the research results, the Adjusted R-square results were 15.36%. Partially shows that the variable current ratio (CR) has a positive effect on profit growth. Meanwhile, the variable debt to equity ratio (DER) partially has no effect on profit growth. And the variable return on assets (ROA) partially does not affect profit growth.. Keywords : Profit Growth, CR, DER, ROA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA) terhadap pertumbuhan laba subjek penelitian adalah perusahaan sektor Transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Sumber data ini menggunakan data sekunder dalam bentuk laporan keuangan dari masing masing Perusahaan Transportasi dari tahun 2016- 2020. Populasi penelitian ini terdapat 25 perusahaan Transportasi, dan sampel terdiri dari 10 perusahaan Tranportasi dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi data panel dengan 8menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 12, dan didapatkan bahwa model yang lebih tepat digunakan adalah Random Effect Model. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil Adjusted R-square sebesar 15.36%. Secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel current ratio (CR) berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Sedangkan variabel debt to equity ratio (DER) secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Serta variabel return on asset (ROA) secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Kata Kunci : Pertumbuhan Laba, CR, DER, ROA
