Abstract
Kardus biasa digunakan sebagai bahan kemasan tersier untuk melindungi suatu produk. Penggunaan kardus sebagai furnitur dan produk ekonomis karena bahan kardus lebih murah bila dibandingkan dengan penggunaan bahan baku lainnya. Hingga kini, kebanyakan furnitur biasa menggunakan bahan seperti kaca, besi, kayu, atau plastik. Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman, penggunaan karton pada furnitur memang baru dan unik di Indonesia. Dengan bahan yang cukup ekonomis untuk produksi maka kardus sekarang banyak disukai sebagai pengganti material baru menjadi produk dan memiliki nilai jual. Bahan utama kardus untuk dijadikan produk tidak terlalu sulit karena sifat kardus yang mudah dibentuk, dipotong, dan ditempelkan pada bahan lainnya. Kursi goyang berbahan kardus merupakan ide hal yang unik jika dibuat untuk dijadikan suatu benda bernilai jual.Cardboard is commonly used as a tertiary packaging material to protect a product. The use of cardboard as furniture and product is economical because the cardboard material is cheaper when compared with the use of other raw materials. Until now, most ordinary furniture uses materials such as glass, iron, wood, or plastic. Along with the development of the era, the use of cartons on the furniture is new and unique in Indonesia. With a material that is quite economical for production then the cardboard is now much preferred as a new material replacement into a product and has a sale value. The main materials of cardboard for the product are not too difficult because of the properties of cardboard that are easily formed, cut, and attached to other materials. Rocking chair made of cardboard is a unique idea if made to be a valuable item.
