Abstract

MICE is a meeting, incentive travel, convention and exhibition activity (Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibition) which provides services for meeting groups of people, organizing trips for employees and business partners as compensation for their achievements, as well as holding exhibitions in the context of disseminating information (Ministerial Regulation Republic of Indonesia Tourism Number 2 of the Year, 2017). Hasyim (2021), stated that the city of Bandung has become one of the tourist and business destinations from abroad in recent years as evidenced by data obtained from the 2011-2020 Visitor Statistics Report to Indonesia which states that tourist arrivals are for the purpose of meetings, incentives, conventions. and exhibitions or in English called Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions (MICE) reached an average of 1.5 million people in the last 5 years and the addition every year with this ratio over the next 30 years could reach 5 million people for tourism and MICE interests. Contemporary Architecture was chosen as an architectural approach in designing Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) Buildings. Contemporary architecture is a new design concept style. Contemporary architecture has many different design styles (Ridwan & Afgani, 2022). Contemporary architecture is a combination of several architectural schools that follow the times with the principles of freedom of expression and are technology-based. Keywords MEETING, INCENTIVE, CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION (MICE), CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE MICE adalah kegiatan pertemuan, perjalanan insentif, konvensi, dan pameran (Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibition) yang memberikan layanan pertemuan sekelompok orang, menyelenggarakan perjalanan bagi karyawan dan mitra usaha sebagai imbalan atas prestasinya, serta menyelenggarakan pameran dalam rangka penyebaran informasi (Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun, 2017). Hasyim (2021), mengemukakan bahwa Kota Bandung menjadi salah satu tujuan wisata dan bisnis dari luar negeri dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini dibuktikan dengan data yang diperoleh dari Laporan Statistik Pengunjung ke Indonesia 2011-2020 yang menyebutkan bahwa kedatangan wisatawan untuk tujuan pertemuan, insentif, konvensi dan pameran atau dalam bahasa inggris disebut Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) mencapai rata-rata 1,5 juta orang dalam 5 tahun terakhir dan penambahan setiap tahunnya dengan perbandingan ini selama 30 tahun ke depan bisa mencapai 5 juta orang untuk pariwisata dan kepentingan MICE. Arsitektur Kontemporer dipilih menjadi sebagai pendekatan Arsitektur pada perancangan Gedung Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibition (MICE). Arsitektur kontemporer merupakan gaya konsep desain yang baru Arsitektur kontemporer memiliki banyak gaya desain yang berbeda (Ridwan & Afgani, 2022). Arsitektur kontemporer merupakan gabungan dari beberapa aliran arsitektur yang mengikuti zaman dengan prinsip kebebasan berekspresi dan berbasis teknologi.
