Abstract
This short film is an educational medium to overcome the problem of cyberbullying in teenagers. This research aims to design a short film as an educational medium that can provide understanding to teenagers about cyberbullying. The method used in this research is observation and literature study. The results of this research show that cyberbullying is a problem that often occurs in teenagers and can have a negative impact on teenagers. Therefore, effective educational media is needed to overcome this problem. The resulting short film design has a theme about a teenager affected by cyberbullying on his live stream but he is able to recover with the support of his closest friends. This short film depicts a teenager who gets insulted on his live streaming, visualized with cinematography that is easy for the audience to understand so that the message is conveyed clearly. The results of the exhibition show that this short film succeeded in providing a better understanding of cyberbullying in teenagers. It is estimated that this short film can be an effective educational medium for overcoming the problem of cyberbullying in teenagers aged 16-24 years. Keywords: Short Films, Cyberbullying, Cinematography Film pendek sebagai media edukasi ini untuk mengatasi masalah cyberbullying pada remaja. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang film pendek sebagai media edukasi yang dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada remaja tentang cyberbullying. Metode yang digunakan pada perancangan ini adalah observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cyberbullying merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi pada remaja dan dapat berdampak negatif pada remaja. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan media edukasi yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Rancangan film pendek yang dihasilkan mengangkat tema tentang remaja terkena cyberbullying di live streamingnya tetapi dia bisa bangkit dengan dukungan temen terdekatnya. Film pendek ini menggambarkan seorang remaja yang dapat hujatan di live streamingnya divisualisasikan dengan sinematografi yang mudah dipahami oleh audience agar pesan tersampaikan dengan jelas. Hasil pameran menunjukkan bahwa film pendek ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang cyberbullying pada remaja. Diharapkan film pendek ini dapat menjadi media edukasi yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah cyberbullying pada remaja usia 16-24 tahun. Kata Kunci: Film Pendek, Cyberbullying, Sinematografi
