Abstract

Nowadays, there is an increasing number of companies in Indonesia that use software to aid in their work and must align with the quality of the resulting products (software quality). At PT. XYZ itself, they use a web-based personnel system to assist in their work. However, there are some functions that do not operate within the website, such as payroll features and leave authorization. This research aims to find out the results of the quality of PT. XYZ's application and to understand the methods, techniques, and testing tools using the ISO/IEC 9126 model with 6 characteristics. Six characteristics tested are related to functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, portability, and maintainability. The research results indicate that the functionality criteria yield a value of 0.29, reliability produces a value of 100%, usability has a value of 0.57, efficiency obtains a value of E with a performance of 41%, and the largest contentful paint is 4.5 seconds. Maintainability didn’t meet the standard because didn’t have any action to maintain the website, and portability also meets the standard as it can run on various browsers and devices with Android and Desktop. Based on this research, it needed to create new website to handle weaknesses model’s category in Functionality, Efficiency, Usability and Maintainability Key words: Software Quality Assurance, Information System, Software tester Pada Zaman sekarang semakin banyaknya perusahaan di Indonesia yang menggunakan perangkat lunak untuk membantu pekerjaan mereka dan harus selaras oleh kualitas hasil produk yang dihasilkan (software quality). Pada PT. XYZ sendiri menggunakan Sistem kepegawaian berbasis web pada bagian personalia untuk membantu pekerjaan mereka, namun ada beberapa fungsi yang tidak berjalan dalam website tersebut seperti fitur penggajian dan perizinan cuti. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa analisis deskriptif dan induktif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari tahu hasil akhir kualitas aplikasi milik PT. XYZ serta mengetahui metode, teknik serta perkakas pengujian menggunakan model ISO/IEC 9126 dengan 6 karakteristik. Enam karakteristik yang diuji adalah terkait functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, portability dan maintainability. Penelitian menghasilkan bahwa kriteria functionality menghasilkan nilai 0,29, reliability menghasilkan nilai 100%, Usability memiliki nilai 0,57, efficiency mendapatkan nilai E dengan performance 41% dengan largest contentful paint 4,5 detik, maintainability belum memenuhi standar karena tidak adanya langkah perawatan, portability juga sudah memenuhi standar karena sudah bisa jalan di beberapa peramban dengan device berbeda yaitu Andoid dan Desktop. Dari hasil penelitian ini di butuhkan website baru yang menangani kekurangan pada kategori Fungsionalitas, Efisiensi, Perawatan dan Kegunaan.
