Abstract

The implementation of Netwatch failover and bandwidth management at PT Balitower Sentra Tbk aims to enhance network availability and bandwidth utilization efficiency. Through this approach, this research analyzes the impact of the implementation on the company's network performance. The research methodology involves collecting data before and after the implementation, along with statistical analysis to evaluate the observed changes.The results indicate that the Netwatch failover implementation successfully reduces downtime during network disruptions, significantly improving service availability. Simultaneously, effective bandwidth management strategies optimize bandwidth usage, reducing congestion during peak hours and enhancing overall network performance.Positive user feedback confirms increased satisfaction with network reliability and service quality. Additionally, Netwatch proves to be an effective tool in automatically detecting and responding to network disturbances, reducing recovery time.Thus, the implementation of Netwatch failover and bandwidth management at PT Balitower Sentra Tbk contributes positively to network reliability and bandwidth utilization efficiency. Recommendations include continuing periodic monitoring, user training, robust capacity planning, system updates, and increased security awareness to maintain and enhance network performance in the future. Keywords: Failvoer, Netwacth, Manajemen Bandwith, Network Administration Implementasi failover Netwatch dan manajemen bandwidth pada PT Balitower Sentra Tbk bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan jaringan dan efisiensi penggunaan bandwidth. Melalui pendekatan ini, penelitian ini menganalisis dampak implementasi tersebut terhadap kinerja jaringan perusahaan. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengumpulan data sebelum dan setelah implementasi, serta analisis statistik untuk mengevaluasi perubahan yang terjadi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi failover Netwatch berhasil mengurangi waktu tidak aktif selama gangguan jaringan, meningkatkan ketersediaan layanan secara signifikan. Sementara itu, strategi manajemen bandwidth efektif mengoptimalkan penggunaan bandwidth, mengurangi kemacetan pada jam sibuk, dan meningkatkan kinerja jaringan secara keseluruhan.Tanggapan positif dari pengguna menegaskan peningkatan kepuasan terhadap keandalan jaringan dan kualitas layanan. Selain itu, Netwatch terbukti menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mendeteksi dan merespons gangguan jaringan secara otomatis, mengurangi waktu pemulihan.Dengan demikian, implementasi failover Netwatch dan manajemen bandwidth di PT Balitower Sentra Tbk memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kehandalan jaringan dan efisiensi penggunaan bandwidth. Saran termasuk melanjutkan pemantauan berkala, pelatihan pengguna, perencanaan kapasitas yang matang, pembaruan sistem, dan peningkatan kesadaran keamanan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kinerja jaringan di masa mendatang.
