Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the effect of psychological well being and extrinsic motivation to work achievement on employees. The sample was collected directly from respondents by giving questionnaires, applying purposive sampling method. This model was tested using a sample of 129 employees from Production Directorate from 3 division namely WRM, HSM and CRM at PT. Krakatau Steel Persero (Tbk). The result of this study showed that both psychological well being and extrinsic motivation positively affected work achievement. Psychological Well Being variable had positive and significant effect to work achievement with R2 value of 0,647 and extrinsic motivation variable had positive and significant effect to work achievement 0,477. From this study were obtained R2 value of 0,702, meaning that 70,2% of work achievement could be explained by independent variable. The remaining 29,8% is explained by other variables outside the study. Keyword: psychological well being, extrinsic motivation, work achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesejahteraan psikologis dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap prestasi kerja. Sampel dikumpulkan langsung dari responden dengan memberikan kuesioner dan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Model ini diuji menggunakan sampel sebanyak 129 karyawan Direktorat Produksi dari 3 (tiga) divisi yaitu WRM, HSM, dan CRM di PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis dan motivasi ekstrinsik berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi kerja. Variabel kesejahteraan psikologis memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja dengan nilai R Square (R2) sebesar 0,647. Sedangkan variabel motivasi ekstrinsik memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja sebesar 0,477. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai R Square (R2) sebesar 0,702, yang berarti bahwa variabel independen memengaruhi prestasi kerja sebesar 70,2% dan sisanya sebesar 29,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar penelitian ini.
