Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of company size, profitability, capital structure and dividend policy on stock returns in the transportation sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2017-2021 period. The sampling method for this research used purposive sampling with a population of 27 companies, resulting in 6 companies that met the research sample criteria. The data collection technique uses documentary techniques, by collecting, studying and analyzing data by obtaining data from reference books and from annual reports from transportation companies via company websites and the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2017-2021. The method used in this research is panel data regression analysis with Eviews 12 software. The results of this research show that the profitability variable has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, while company size, capital structure and dividend policy do not have a significant effect. Keywords : company size, profitability, capital structure, dividend policy, stock returns Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, struktur modal dan kebijakan dividen terhadap return saham pada sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2017-2021. Metode dalam pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan populasi 27 perusahaan didapatkan 6 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumenter, dengan mengumpulkan, mempelajari dan menganalisis data dengan cara memperoleh data dari buku-buku referensi dan dari laporan tahunan dari perusahaan transportasi melalui website perusahaan dan Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama 2017-2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisi regresi data panel dengan software Eviews 12. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan, struktur modal dan kebijakan dividen tidak berpengaruh signifikan.
