Abstract
Financial distress have strong relationship to the bankruptcy of a company. The occurence of financial distress can be predicted by using information contained in financial statement. This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress at food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data with causal research. The sample technique used is purposive sampling. The sample of research is 18 companies with financial reporting period from 2016 until 2019. The data analysis method in this study used is logistic regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25 program. The result of this research are profitability have significant effect on financial distress, while liquidity and leverage have no significant effect on financial distress. Keywords: financial distress, liquidty, leverage, profitability, ratio. Financial distress memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan kebangkrutan pada suatu perusahaan. Terjadinya financial distress dapat diprediksi dengan menggunakan informasi yang terdapat dalam laporan keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, dan profitabilitas terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder dengan penelitian kausal. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian yang didapatkan sebanyak 18 perusahaan dengan periode pelaporan keuangan dari tahun 2016 hingga 2019. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik dengan bantuan program SPSS 25. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap financial distress, sedangkan likuiditas dan leverage tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap financial distress. Kata Kunci: financial distress, likuiditas, leverage, profitabilitas, rasio.
