Abstract
Islamic Center is a center of Islamic activities which includes worship, mu'amalah and da'wah or in addition to places of worship, as well as a place of formation and development of Islam. Actors in this Islamic Center are managers, general visitors and special visitors who will attend the training and education center. Mosques alone are not enough to accommodate the development and development of Islam, so it is necessary to hold centers of Islamic cultural activities such as the Islamic Center in Tangerang City which is majority Muslim. Similarly, local culture needs to be preserved in this modern era. . Keywords: Islamic Center Islamic Center merupakan pusat kegiatan keislaman yang meliputi ibadah, mu’amalah dan dakwah atau selain tempat beribadah, juga sebagai tempat pembinaan dan pengembangan agama Islam. Pelaku dalam Islamic Center ini yaitu pengelola, pengunjung umum dan pengunjung khusus yang akan mengikuti pusat pelatihan dan pendidikan. Masjid saja tidak cukup untuk menampung kegiatan pengembangan dan pembinaan agama Islam tersebut, sehingga perlu diadakan sentra-sentra kegiatan budaya keislaman seperti Islamic Center di Kota Tangerang yang mayoritas penduduk muslim. Sama halnya dengan budaya lokal yang perlu dilestarikan di era modern ini. Kata Kunci: Islamic Center
