Abstract
The existence of needs and work activities will lead to travel that can result in the movement of people which ultimately requires a choice of transportation modes. The movement between the two cities can be served by two modes, namely Bus and Train. For this reason, it is necessary to know the preference for mode selection between the Yogyakarta-Purwokerto Train and Bus (AKDP) line. This study aims to develop a model for selecting public transport modes of transportation. The approach used in this study is the stated preference technique. The independent variable is the difference in value: travel costs (Cost), travel time (Travel Time), departure schedule (Headway) of Trains and Buses. Data analysis was carried out using regression analysis as a trip (Y) and the difference in travel costs (X1), travel time (X2), and departure time (X3). From the test results and calculations for the mode selection scenario, it can be concluded that in general, people are more dominant in using the train as the preferred mode of travel compared to using the bus mode on the Yogyakarta-Purwokerto route. For changes in the independent variable, it does not affect the traveller. Keywords: Mode Selection, Binomial Logit, Stated Preference Adanya kebutuhan dan aktivitas bekerja akan menimbulkan perjalanan yang dapat menghasilkan pergerakan orang yang pada akhirnya memerlukan pilihan moda transportasi. pergerakan antar kedua kota tersebut dapat dilayani oleh dua moda yaitu Bus dan Kereta Api. Untuk itu perlu diketahui preferensi pemilihan moda antara jalur Kereta Api dan Bus (AKDP) Yogyakarta-Purwokerto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pemilihan moda transportasi angkutan umum. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini ialah teknik preferensi yang dinyatakan. Variabel bebas adalah selisih nilai : biaya perjalanan (Cost), waktu tempuh perjalanan (Travel Time), jadwal keberangkatan (Headway) Kereta Api dan Bus. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi selaku perjalanan (Y) dan selisih biaya perjalanan (X1), waktu perjalanan (X2), dan waktu keberangkatan (X3). Dari hasil pengujian dan perhitungan untuk skenario pemilihan moda dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada umunya masyarakat lebih dominan menggunakan Kereta Api sebagai moda pilihan untuk perjalanan dibandingkan menggunakan moda Bus pada rute YogyakartaPurwokerto. Untuk perubahan variabel bebas tidak berpengeruh terhadap pelaku perjalanan. Kata kunci : Pemilihan Moda, Logit Binomial, Stated Preference
