Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and examine the significant effect of firm size on capital structure; profitability to capital structure; capital structure on firm value; firm size on firm value; profitability on firm value; the indirect effect of firm size and capital structure on firm value; indirect effect of profitability and capital structure on firm value. The population in this study was 178 manufacturing companies, while the research sample is 13 automotive subsector companies and components listed on the IDX with the sampling technique was purposive sampling method. The research method used is quantitative methods, while the analysis model used is regression analysis model with t test and sobel test. The result of this study indicate that firm size has significant effect on capital structure; profitability has negative and significant effect on capital structure; capital structure has no significant effect on firm value; firm size has significant effect on firm value; profitability has no effect and is not significant to firm value; there is no indirect and insignificant influence between firm size and capital structure and firm value; There is no indirect and insignificant influence between profitability and capital structure with firm value. Keywords: Firm Size, Profitability, Capital Structure, Firm Value Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji pengaruh signifikan ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal; profitabilitas terhadap struktur modal; struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan; ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan; profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan; pengaruh tidak langsung ukuran perusahaan dengan struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan; pengaruh tidak langsung profitabilitas dengan struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 178 Perusahaan Manufaktur sedangkan sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 13 perusahaan Otomotif Subsektor Otomotif dan Komponen yang terdaftar di BEI dengan teknik penarikan sampel yaitu dengan metode purposive sampling. Metode penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif, sedangkan model analisis menggunakan model analisis regresi dengan uji t, dan sobel test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal; profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal; struktur modal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan; profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan; tidak terdapat pengaruh secara tidak langsung dan tidak signifikan antara ukuran perusahaan dan struktur modal dengan nilai perusahaan; tidak terdapat pengaruh secara tidak langsung dan tidak signifikan antara profitabilitas dan struktur modal dengan nilai perusahaan.
