Abstract

Abstract: According to the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation No. 29 of 1990 concerning Secondary Education, as for the education system in vocational high schools, 70% practice and 30% theory. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning system has become a distance learning system (PJJ). Likewise at SMKN 7 Tangerang Regency, which is the favorite and pilot SMKN. Ironically this PJJ system causes many problems, such as in automotive productive lessons on the competency of Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO), because not all lessons on these competencies can be taught in PJJ. That is why, the focus of this research wants to reveal how the communication creativity of automotive productive teachers in TKRO SMKN 7 Tangerang Regency students during the Covid 19 pandemic? This qualitative research uses an exploratory type case study method, in a constructivist perspective, with in-depth interview techniques. The research object, namely, teachers and students of class XII at TKRO competency at SMKN 7 Tangerang Regency. Using the Convergence Theory by D. Lawrence Kincaid (1979). The results are: First, the form of communication creativity for the TKRO competence automotive teacher in class XII SMKN 7 Tangerang Regency during the Covid 19 pandemic, namely : One, apart from using online communication, also occasionally face-to-face for self-correction purposes and only for a few students.; Two, the channels and functions of teacher communication creativity to pupils do not apply equally to all students, and tend to be differentiating, such as between clever and diligent students and those who are less intelligent and lazy; Three, communication creativity Teachers tend to make students passive, but independent in learning and building understanding. Second, The obstacles are psychological barriers, social status barriers, environmental barriers, poor choice of communication barriers, and technical barriers. Keywords: Teacher Communication Creativity, SMKN, Covid 1 Menurut Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia No. 29 tahun 1990 tentang Pendidikan Menengah, adapun sistem pendidikan pada sekolah menengah kejuruan, 70% praktek dan 30% teori. Namun sejak ada pandemi Covid-19, sistem pembelajaran tersebut menjadi jarak jauh (PJJ). Begitupun pada SMKN 7 Kabupaten Tangerang, yang merupakan SMKN favorit dan percontohan. Ironisnya sistem PJJ ini menimbulkan banyak masalah, seperti pada pelajaran produktif otomotif pada kompetensi Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif (TKRO), sebab tidak semua pelajaran pada kompetensi tersebut dapat diajarkan secara PJJ. Itulah sebabnya, fokus penelitian ini ingin mengungkap bagaimana kreativitas komunikasi guru produktif otomotif pada murid TKRO SMKN 7 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam masa pandemi covid 19? Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode studi kasus jenis eksploratif, dalam perspektif konstruktivis, dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Obyek penelitian yaitu, guru dan murid kelas XII pada kompetensi TKRO SMKN 7 Kabupaten Tangerang. Menggunakan Teori Konvergensi milik D. Lawrence Kincaid (1979). Hasilnya yaitu : Pertama, Bentuk kreativitas komunikasi Guru pelajaran otomotif kompetensi TKRO pada murid kelas XII SMKN 7 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam masa pandemi Covid 19 yaitu : Satu, selain menggunakan komunikasi daring, juga sesekali tatap muka untuk kepentingan swakoreksi dan hanya pada beberapa murid saja.; Dua, saluran dan fungsi kreativitas komunikasi Guru pada murid tidak berlaku sama bagi semua murid, dan cenderung bersifat membedakan, seperti antara murid yang pandai dan rajin, dengan murid yang kurang pandai dan malas.; Tiga, kreativitas komunikasi Guru cenderung membuat murid pasif, namun mandiri dalam belajar dan membangun pemahaman.; Kedua, Adapun hambatannya yaitu, hambatan psikologis, hambatan status sosial, hambatan lingkungan, hambatan poor choice of communication, dan hambatan teknis.
