Abstract
The Exploration of the Archipelago Feature Program: Episode Golok: The Iron Forge of the Eternal Heritage raises the existence of a machete as a cultural heritage of the Indonesian people that needs to be preserved from generation to generation. Many of today's younger generation are starting to forget the cultural values of a machete and only think of a machete as just an ordinary sharp weapon for daily activities without knowing the cultural values of a machete. The author as a producer in the Feature program Jelajah Nusantara Episode Golok: Forging Iron Pusaka Abadi has the responsibility of overseeing all of this production from pre-production, production to post-production. The author also plays a role in compiling the plot of the story which was developed from the results of several interviews with selected informants so that they can produce accurate data in the process of making the script of the Exploration Archipelago Feature Program Episode Golok: Forging Iron Pusaka Abadi. This Feature Program has a cultural Feature genre where the topics discussed are related to the culture of a nation which are raised from different perspectives in order to create a show that can be enjoyed by a wide audience. This Feature Program is also expected to provide learning, especially for the younger generation today, about how to maintain the cultural values of a nation which are the responsibility of today's young generation as the next generation of the nation. Keywords: Feature, Machete, Production, Producer, Writer Program Feature Jelajah Nusantara Episode Golok: Tempaan Besi Pusaka Abadi mengangkat eksistensi sebuah golok sebagai warisan budaya bangsa Indonesia yang perlu di lestarikan dari generasi ke generasi. Banyak dari generasi muda sekarang yang memang mulai melupakan nilai-nilai budaya dari sebuah golok dan hanya menganggap golok hanyalah sebuah senjata tajam yang biasa untuk berkegiatan sehari-hari saja tanpa tahu nilai-nilai budaya dari sebuah golok tersebut. Penulis sebagai produser dalam program Feature Jelajah Nusantara Episode Golok: Tempaan Besi Pusaka Abadi mempunyai tanggung jawab dalam mengawal seluruh produksi ini dari mulai pra produksi, produksi hingga pasca produksi. Penulis juga berperan dalam menyusun alur dari cerita yang dikembangkan dari hasil beberapa wawancara dengan para narasumber terpilih agar bisa menghasilkan data yang akurat dalam proses pembuatan naskah dari program Feature Jelajah Nusantara Episode Golok: Tempaan Besi Pusaka Abadi. Program Feature ini memiliki genre Feature budaya dimana topik yang dibahas berkaitan dengan budaya dari suatu bangsa yang diangkat dari sudut pandang berbeda agar bisa menciptakan sebuah tayangan yang dapat dinikmati oleh para khalayak luas. Program Feature ini juga diharapkan bisa memberikan pembelajaran terutama bagi generasi muda sekarang tentang bagaimana menjaga nilai-nilai budaya dari suatu bangsa yang menjadi tanggung jawab generasi muda sekarang sebagai generasi penerus bangsa.
