Abstract

PT. Cahaya Abadi Grafika is a company engaged in printing services. In a service company, customer satisfaction is a key requirement for the progress and development of a company. Scheduling becomes an important factor in a production process. A good scheduling method can help smooth the production process with the timing plan well planned from each process on the production unit from the preparation of the print, the print process and the finishing process to the delivery. The research was conducted on 10 boxes of box packaging with different specifications and different deadlines . From 10 boxes of packaging packaging is done the printing process with 5 printing machines, 4 pond machines, and 8 different gluing machines. With some existing scheduling method the authors do research on each process from each magazine until found and determined the most optimal method to be applied to the exact timing on each deadline box packaging. Keywords: Scheduling, Print Process, FCFS, EDD, LPT, SPT, Hudgson Rule PT. Cahaya Abadi Grafika adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa percetakan. Dalam sebuah perusahaan jasa, kepuasan pelanggan adalah syarat utama bagi kemajuan dan perkembangan sebuah perusahaan. Scheduling menjadi faktor penting dalam sebuah proses produksi. Suatu metode scheduling yang baik dapat membantu melancarkan proses produksi dengan terencananya aturan waktu dengan baik dari setiap proses pada unit produksi mulai dari persiapan cetak, proses cetak dan proses finishing hingga delivery, Penelitian dilakukan pada 10 dus box packaging dengan spesifikasi yang berbeda dan deadline yang berbeda. Dari 10 dus box packaging tersebut dilakukan proses cetak dengan 5 mesin cetak, 4 mesin pond, dan 8 mesin gluing yang berbeda. Dengan beberapa metode scheduling yang ada penulis melakukan penelitian pada setiap proses dari masng-masing majalah hingga ditemukan dan ditetapkan metode yang paling optimal agar dapat diaplikasikan pada penentuan waktu yang tepat pada setiap deadline dus box packaging.
