Abstract
This study focuses on improving the performance of the flood pump housing as a result of selecting the Pump bay separating wall, Piping distribution system and the placement of the Reduction gear which contributed to major changes in the design of the pump housing. Flood pump houses, which generally use closed type axial pumps (Elbow type) place the gear box separately from the pump motor, thus making the construction design more complex and the maintenance process more difficult. Observation of the condition of the water discharge at the Ancol and Sentiong Rivers which we compared with the performance of the pump at the Ancol River gate. By using the statistical software tools contained in the Minitab16 program, it helps to get faster and more accurate results. Normality Test, Gage R&R, Capability Analysis, Test for Equal variance with Anova, Two sample T-Test, are a series of tests carried out in this study. In the improvement section, a Design of Experiment (DOE) will be carried out. The pump in this study is sample number 2 of 3 pumps available at the Ancol pump house. From the results of the study, it was found that the increase in pump discharge was 4.16 m³/second to 5.25 m/second and the Sigma level before repair was 2.27σ and after repair was 5.91σ. This has had a major impact on increasing the desired performance of the flood pump house, so that it can respond to the increase in water discharge in the next few years. Keywords: DMAIC, Quality Control, Six Sigma, Flood Pump, Water discharge Penelitian ini berfokus pada peningkatan performa rumah pompa banjir sebagai hasil dari pemilihan input masuk pompa (Pump bay separating wall), sistem pipa pendistribusian (Piping distribution) dan penempatan Reduction gear ikut memberikan konstribusi terjadinya perubahan besar pada design rumah pompa. Rumah pompa banjir yang pada umumnya menggunakan pompa axial tipe tertutup (Elbow type) menempatkan gear box terpisah dengan motor pompa, sehingga membuat design konstruksi lebik kompleks dan proses perawatan yang lebih sulit. Observasi keadaan debit air di Kali Ancol dan Sentiong yang kita bandingkan dengan performa pompa di pintu Kali Ancol. Dengan menggunakan tools software Statistik yang terdapat pada program Minitab16, membantu untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih cepat dan akurat. Normality Test, Gage R&R, Capability Analysis, Test for Equal variance dengan Anova, Two sample T-Tes, adalah serangkaian test yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini. Pada bagian improvement akan dilakukan Design of Experiment (DOE). Pompa dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel nomor 2 dari 3 pompa yang tersedia di rumah pompa Ancol. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan peningkatan peningkatan debit pompa sebesar 4,16 m³/detik menjadi 5,25m³/detik dan tingkat Sigma sebelum perbaikan sebesar 2,27σ dan setelah perbaikan menjadi 5,91σ. Hal ini telah membawa pengaruh besar kepada peningkatan performa rumah pompa banjir yang diinginkan, sehingga dapat menjawab peningkatan debit air pada kali beberapa tahun kedepan.
