Abstract
The building department is one of the departments in the tire manufacturing production process. The main work activities are picking up, lifting, and pushing PLY TUC. Currently, these three activities are still carried out manually. Based on company data in January 2021, there were 20 workers who complained of pain in the body, especially in the back and waist. This study aims to analyze the risks of ergonomics and the design of work to reduce the risks of ergonomics. This study uses the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to analyze the worker's body posture and the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) to determine the load limit lifted by the worker. The results of the study using the REBA method obtained the final result that the three existing work activities had ergonomic risks ranging from moderate to very risky categories. The results of measuring the load lifted from the five respondents using the initial RWL method were 6.64 ~ 9.01 kg and the final RWL value was 9.22 ~ 12.58 kg. The initial lifting index (LI) is 4.26 and the final LI is 3.05, which means the work is risky, so it is necessary to improve work methods or make tools to reduce or even eliminate ergonomic risks. The design of the tool in the form of a lorry can eliminate ergonomic risks in work activities of lifting PLY TUC. Keywords : Ergonomic Risk, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), Recommended Weight Limit (RWL), Lifting index (LI), Lorry Departemen building merupakan salah satu departemen dalam proses produksi manufaktur pembuatan ban. Kegiatan kerja utama pada yaitu mengambil, megangkat, dan mendorong PLY TUC. Saat ini ketiga kegiatan tersebut masih dilakukan secara manual. Berdasarkan data perusahaan pada bulan januari 2021, terdapat 20 pekerja yang mengeluhkan sakit pada bagian tubuh terutama pada bagian punggung dan pinggang. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis risiko ergonomi dan perancangan alat bantu kerja untuk menurunkan risiko ergonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) untuk menganalisis postur tubuh pekerja dan Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) untuk mengetahui batas beban yang diangkat oleh pekerja. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode REBA diperoleh hasil akhir bahwa dari ketiga kegiatan kerja yang ada memiliki risiko ergonomi dari mulai kategori sedang sampai sangat berisiko. Hasil pengukuran beban yang diangkat dari kelima responden menggunakan metode RWL awal diperoleh angka 6,64 ~ 9,01 kg dan nilai RWL akhir 9,22 ~ 12,58 kg. Nilai lifting index (LI) awal 4,26 dan LI akhir 3,05 yang artinya pekerjaan tersebut berisiko sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan metode kerja ataupun membuat alat bantu untuk menurunkan bahkan meghilangkan risiko ergonomi. Perancangan alat bantu berupa lorry dapat menghilangkan risiko ergonomi pada kegiatan kerja mengangkat PLY TUC.
