Abstract
ABSTRAK Perkembangan inovasi dalam dunia konstruksi terus mengalami kemajuan. Beton merupakan salah satu pilihan sebagai bahan truktur dalam konstruksi bangunan selain kayu dan logam. Beton diminati karena banyak memiliki kelebihan dibandingkan dengan bahan lainya. Beton adalah campuran antara semen Portland atau semen hidraulik lainnya, agregat halus, agregat kasar, dan air, dengan atau tanpa bahan tambahan yang membentuk masa padat. Aplikasi beton saat ini sangat luas untuk berbagai pekerjaan konstruksi seperti gedung tingkat tinggi, jembatan, bendungan. Aplikasi beton salah satunya dengan menambahkan serat pada campuran beton Normal dan akan berpengaruh pada kuat tekan dan kuat Tarik pada beton. Penelitian ini menggunakan serat sebagai bahan tambah pada beton dengan beberapa variasi yaitu 0 kg/m3, 1 kg/m3, 2 kg/m3, dan 3 kg/m3. Dari Hasil Penelitian ini Nilai kuat tekan naik dari pada beton normal dengan menambahkan variasi serat. Untuk Kuat Tarik Belah pada beton meningkat dari pada beton normal dengan penambahan serat. Peningkatan tersebut bahkan mencapai 28,1% pada variasi 1 kg/m3 dibbandingkan beton tanpa serat. Kata Kunci : Beton, Serat Sintetik (Synthetic Fiber), Slump Test, Kuat Tekan, Kuat Tarik Belah. ABSTRACT The development of innovation in the world of construction continues to progress. Cpncrete is one of the options as a structural material in building construction other than wood and metal. Concrete is in demand because it has many advantages compared to other materials. Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water, with or without additives to form a solid mass. The application of concrete is very wide for various construction work such as high-rise buildings, bridge, dams. One of the concrete applications is by adding fiber to the normal concrete mixture and it will affect to the compressive strength of the concrete. This study uses fiber as an additive in concrete with several variations, namely 0 kg/m³, 1 kg/m³, 2 kg/m³, 3 kg/m³. From the result of this study, the compressive strength value increased from normal concrete by adding fiber variations. The percentage change in the compressive strength of concrete with a variation of 1 kg/m³ increased 6% from the normal concrete compressive strength (0 kg/m³). Likewise, the variations of fiber added 2 kg/m³ increased by 5% compared to 1 kg/m³ fiber concrete. Concrete with the addition of 3 kg/m³ of fiber also increased 7% from concrete with a variation of 2 kg/m³. For split tensile strength in concrete increases than normal concrete with the addition of fiber. The increase even reached 28.1% at a variation of 1 kg/m³ compared to concrete without fiber.
