Abstract

In taking advantage of opportunities for the oil palm plantation industry in the future, Indonesia needs to have human resources with good performance. Human resources with good performance play an important role in carrying out all activities from the planning to evaluation level so as to be able to provide maximum results from an organization or company. by providing an effective workload, the organization can find out how far its employees can provide the maximum workload and the extent of its influence on the performance of the organization itself. Planning and managing human resources can be done through workload analysis. It can be seen in PT.X that there is a difference between the number of jobs and the number of employees working. Therefore, it is necessary to measure workload as a basis for determining optimal workforce requirements. This research is about measuring the workload of PT. X workforce on Human Capital Development using the full-time equivalent method. The results showed that the workload borne by manpower on human capital development as many as 7 manpower had high workload (overload) and as many as 4 employees had normal workload (fit). While the number of optimal workforce needs in human capital development is 17 workers. Optimizing manpower performance can be done by changing the composition of the number of workers in accordance with the calculation of the optimal number of workers and rearranging and re-delegating the job description. Keywords: Human Capital, Workload, Full Time Equivalent, Manpower Requirements Dalam memanfaatkan peluang industri perkebunan kelapa sawit pada masa depan, Indonesia perlu memiliki sumber daya manusia dengan kinerja yang baik. Sumber daya manusia dengan kinerja yang baik memegang peranan penting dalam melakukan keseluruhan aktivitas dari tingkat perencanaan hingga evaluasi sehingga mampu memberikan hasil yang maksimal dari sebuah organisasi maupun perusahaan. dengan pemberian beban kerja yang efektif, organisasi dapat mengetahui sejauh mana karyawannya dapat diberikan beban kerja yang maksimal dan sejauh mana pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja organisasi itu sendiri. Perencanaan dan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dapat dilakukan melalui analisis beban kerja. Terlihat pada PT.X bahwa ada perbedaan antara jumlah pekerjaan dan jumlah karyawan yang melakukannya Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengukuran beban kerja sebagai dasar penetapan kebutuhan tenaga kerja optimal. Penelitian ini tentang mengukur beban kerja manpower PT.X pada Human Capital Development dengan metode full-time equivalent. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa beban kerja yang ditanggung manpower pada human capital development sebanyak 7 manpower memiliki beban kerja tinggi (overload) dan sebanyak 4 karyawan memiliki beban kerja normal (fit). Sedangkan jumlah kebutuhan tenaga kerja optimal pada human capital development adalah 17 manpower. Untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja manpower dapat dilakukan dengan merubah komposisi jumlah tenaga kerja sesuai dengan perhitungan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal dan melakukan penyusunan dan pendelegasian ulang pada job description.
