Abstract
This study aims to prove empirically the effect of firm size, firm size, firm solvency and company profitability on audit delay. The population used in this study are manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the period 2016-2019. The sample selection method in this study using purposive sampling, with the number of samples that match the criteria is as many as 27 companies. The analysis technique used in this research is SPSS ver 25. The results of this test show that the size of the company, the size of KAP, the solvency of the company has no effect on audit delay, while profitability has an effect on audit delay. Keywords: audit delay, firm size, firm size, firm solvency and company profitability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, ukuran KAP, solvabilitas perusahaan dan profitabilitas perusahaan terhadap audit delay. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor industry dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia periode 2016-2019. Metode pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel yang sesuai dengan kriteria adalah sebanyak 27 perusahaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah SPSS ver 25. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukan bahwa ukuran perusahaan, ukuran KAP, solvabilitas perusahaan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap terhadap audit delay, sedangkan profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit delay. Kata kunci: audit delay, ukuran perusahaan, ukuran KAP, solvabilitas perusahaan dan profitabilitas perusahaan.
