Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Liquidity, Leverage, and Operating Capacity on Financial Distress. The object of this research is a Properties and Real Estate sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2021. This research is a quantitative type using secondary data. Data collection techniques use literature study methods as well as download annual report data. The population in this study is all Properties and Real Estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange amounting to 78 companies. By using purposive sampling techniques to determine the sample, so that the sample in this study amounted to 13 companies that fit the criteria. The data analysis method used is panel data regression analysis with the selected model approach, namely the fixed effect model and with the help of Eviews 12 for windows software. The results of this study indicate that liquidity has no effect on financial distress, leverage have a positive effect on financial distress and operating capacity have a negative effect on financial distress in properties and real estate sector companies. Keywords: Liquidity, Leverage, Operating Capacity, Financial Distress. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Likuiditas, Leverage, dan Operating Capacity terhadap Financial Distress. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor Properties dan Real Estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2021. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan serta mengunduh data laporan tahunan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor properties dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia berjumlah 78 perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk menentukan sampel, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 13 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan pendekatan model yang terpilih yaitu fixed effect model dan dengan bantuan software Eviews 12 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress, Leverage berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress dan Operating Capacity berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan sektor properties dan real estate. Kata Kunci: Likuiditas, Leverage, Operating Capacity, Financial Distress.
