Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress in the transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2019 period. This type of research is quantitative research. The research object used as the company's population is 32 transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2019. The sampling method uses purposive sampling with the number selected as a sample of 27 companies. The data collection method uses the library method, by downloading the annual report data of transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. Data analysis for this method uses panel data regression with analysis method using Eviews 12. This study proves that Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on Financial Distress. Leverage has a positive and significant effect on financial distress and Profitability has no significant effect on financial distress. Keywords:Financial Distress, Liquidity, Leverage, Profitability Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, dan profitabilitas terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan sub sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2015-2019. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Objek penelitian yang dijadikan populasi perusahaan adalah 32 perusahaan sub sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019. Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah yang terpilih menjadi sampel sebanyak 27 perusahaan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kepustakaan, dengan mengunduh data laporan tahunan perusahaan sub sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan Eviews 12. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Leverage berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress dan Profitabilitas tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress.
