Abstract
Low Cost Housing is a multi-storey building built in an environment that is divided into sections that are functionally structured in horizontal or vertical directions. The purpose of writing this report is to explain the planning process and design of special flats designed to respond to problems related to the existence of housing for the middle class. By prioritizing the Energy Saving aspect, then aligning it with the basic concept of a minimalist Low Cost Housing building. Application of materials, circulation, and building mass design which is also adapted to environmental conditions. The theme of designing a Low Cost Housing building is Energy Saving, which is then aligned with the basic concept of a Minimalist Low Cost Housing building. Minimalist building is a style that only displays building elements as needed according to function, trying to be as simple as possible and from here an aesthetic and elegant impression appears. Rumah Susun adalah bangunan gedung bertingkat yang dibangun dalam suatu lingkungan yang terbagi dalam bagian-bagian yang distrukturkan secara fungsional dalam arah horisontal maupun vertical. Penulisan laporan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang proses perencanaan dan perancangan rumah susun khusus yang dirancang untuk menanggapi problematika terkait akan adanya rumah tinggal untuk kalangan menengah. Dengan mengedepankan aspek Hemat Energi, kemudian menyelaraskan dengan konsep dasar bangunan rumah susun yang minimalis. Penerapan material, sirkulasi, serta rancangan massa bangunan yang juga disesuaikan dengan keadaan lingkungan. Tema dari perancangan bangunan Rumah Susun ini adalah Hemat Energi, yang kemudian di selaraskan dengan konsep dasar bangunan rumah susun yang Minimalis. Bangunan Minimalis ialah gaya yang hanya menampilkan elemen bangunan seperlunya saja sesuai fungsi, berusaha sesederhana mungkin dan dari sini kemudian muncul kesan estetis dan elegan.
