Abstract
The mass media attends to meet people needed especially television which is as effective mass media in forwarding messages in audio visual form. I'm Possible is one of the leading programs on Metro TV. This television program wants to get closer to the social issues and urbanities' mental health particularly in Indonesia. This study was conducted to determine college students' satisfaction of Mercu Buana University regular 2 in 2015 Broadcasting Study Program. In this study, the writer used the descriptive method which are quantitative approach and survey method. This research was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction of Mercu Buana University collages students in the 2015 regular class 2 in watched I'm Possible impressions on Metro TV. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that; (1) Mean of satisfaction to get information about social problems was 3.58, (2) Mean of satisfaction could motivate themselves was 3,62, (3) Mean of satisfaction could adjust to others life, could play a role in surrounding environment, could link the problems faced in family, friends and society with each equal 3,375, (4) Mean of satisfaction could release saturation was 3,29, (5) Mean of respondent who felt quite satisfied in watching I'm Possible on Metro TV was 3,35. Keywords: Expectation, Satisfaction, Audience Media massa hadir untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, khususnya televisi yang merupakan media massa yang efektif dalam meneruskan pesan yang berbentuk audio visual.Program acara I’m Possible ini merupakan salah satu program unggulan di Metro TV. Pogram ini ingin lebih dekat isu-isu masyarakat dan kesehatan mental kaum urban khususnya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan Mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana khususnya Bidang Studi Broadcasting angakatan 2015 reguler 2. Dalam peniltian ini, penulis menggunakan deskriptif yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat kepuasan Mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana angkatan 2015 reguler 2 dalam menonton tayanagn I’m Possible di Metro TV. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Kepuasan mendapatkan informasi tentang permasalahan sosial dengan mean 3,58. (2) Kepuasan dapat memotivasi diri sendiri dengan nilai mean 3,62. (3) Kepuasan dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan kehidupan kehidupan orang lain, dapat menjalankan peran dalam lingkungan sekitar, dapat mengaitkan permasalahan yang ada dalam lingkungan keluarga, teman, dan masyarakat dengan masing-masing mean 3,375. (4) kepuasan dapat melepaskan kejenuhan dengan nilai mean 3,29. (5) Responden merasa cukup puas dalam menonton tayangan I’m Possible di Metro TV dengan mean 3,35 Kata kunci: Haparan, Kepuasan, Khalayak
