Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the business of making paving blocks from multilayer plastic waste, in the location of the study if viewed from market aspects, technical aspects, management aspects and financial aspects, then the problem raised in this study is "whether the business of making Paving Blocks in PT. XYZ is in accordance with company goals or so that the company does not experience losses? ". This type of research is a case study of research conducted by a group of employees at PT. XYZ. The research method used is the Market analysis method that is using SWOT Analysis, technical analysis by analyzing the quality of technology and cost analysis, where the product has been tested with specifications of SNI 8154: 2015, management analysis by analyzing the organizational structure and number of workforce qualifications, which has performed its functions properly, and financially by using the Break Even Point (BEP) calculation method, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) which will help companies to be able to know how many products must be produced and how many products must be sold so that the company does not experience losses. The analysis shows that the feasibility of a Paving Block business conducted by PT. XYZ with a BEP value of TR> TC, NPV and IRR of 25.00% which is greater than the interest rate used (5.00%) with a payback period (PP) of 4 years 5 months which is faster than the age of investment (10 years) and the value of BCR is greater than 1. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha industri pembuatan Paving blockdari limbah plastik multilayer, dilokasi penelitian jika ditinjau dari aspek pasar, aspek teknis, aspek manajemen dan aspek finansial, maka permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah “apakah usaha pembuatanPaving Block di PT.XYZsesuai dengan tujuan perusahaan atau agar perusahaan tidak mengalami kerugian?”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus pada penelitian yang dilakukan oleh sekelompok pegawai di PT.XYZ. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode analisis Pasar yaitu dengan menggunakan Analisa SWOT, analisis teknis dengan menganalisis kualitas dari teknologi dan analisis biaya, dimana produk tersebut sudah dilakukan pengujian dengan spesifikasi SNI 8154:2015, analisis manajemen dengan menganalisis struktur organisasi dan jumlah kualifikasi tenaga kerja, dimana telah menjalankan fungsi-fungsi dengan baik, dan finansial yaitu dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan Break Even Point (BEP),Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR)dimana akan membantu perusahaan untuk dapat mengetahui berapa jumlah produk yang harus dihasilkan dan berapa jumlah produk yang harus dijual agar perusahaan tidak mengalami kerugian. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa kelayakan usaha Paving Block yang dilakukan PT.XYZdengan nilai BEP yaitu TR > TC , NPV dan IRR sebesar 25.00% dimana lebih besar dari suku bunga yang dipakai (5.00%) dengan jangka waktu pengembalian modal (PP) yaitu 4 tahun 5 bulan dimana lebih cepat dari umur investasi (10 tahun) dan nilai BCR lebih besar dari 1. Dinyatakan layak untuk dilaksanakan. Kata Kunci : Paving Block, Analisa SWOT,BEP, NPV, IRR Payback Periode, BCR.
