Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many habits in society, one of which is in terms of work. Workers no longer work in the same room as a result of activity restrictions, so the majority of workers must carry out their activities online. The millennial generation, which currently dominates the workforce, is able to adapt well to this change in habits because it has good interpersonal skills. This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal skills on innovative work behavior in millennial workers in Jakarta. The research subjects are workers who are in the millennial generation range and work in the Jakarta area. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 150 people. The analytical method used is simple regression. The results show that interpersonal skills have a positive and significant influence on innovative work behavior among millennial workers in Jakarta. Keywords: interpersonal skills, innovative work behavior, millennial workers Pandemi covid-19 telah banyak merubah kebiasaan di masyarakat, salah satunya adalah dalam hal bekerja. Para pekerja tidak lagi bekerja di dalam satu ruangan yang sama akibat dari pembatasan aktivitas, sehingga mayoritas pekerja harus menjalankan aktivitasnya secara daring. Generasi milenial yang saat ini mendominasi jumlah tenaga kerja mampu beradaptasi dengan baik atas perubahan kebiasaan ini karena memiliki keterampilan interpersonal yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interpersonal skills terhadap innovative work behavior pada pekerja milenial di Jakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah para pekerja yang berada pada rentang generasi milenial dan bekerja di wilayah Jakarta. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 150 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interpersonal skills memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap innovative work behavior pada pekerja milenial di Jakarta.
