Abstract

Population growth has become an issue throughout the world, the increasing number of people has a negative impact that can trigger various problems. For this reason, the Central Jakarta City Administration is continuously making improvements, both in terms of physical, social and economic aspects that aim to improve the welfare of the community. The office of the Mayor of the Central Jakarta Administration City is considered inadequate to support development policies and public services in various fields. In order to create an optimal service for the community, one of the factors that determine its success is to look at all the aspects needed by the community and the functionality of the building. In addition to social problems that occur as a result of population growth that continues to increase, it is inseparable from the growth of building construction, especially government buildings, which are growing rapidly. Issues regarding environmental problems arising from the impact of the construction of government buildings in Indonesia at this time such as environmental degradation, global warming, energy and air crises. One of the concepts currently being developed in the world in dealing with urban problems is the concept of environmentally friendly architecture. For this reason, the concept of green architecture emerged, namely an architectural planning approach that seeks to minimize various hazards to human health and the environment. The new Central Jakarta Administration Mayor Office must be able to reflect the local architecture (Betawi) Jakarta, as well as buildings that carry the concept of Green Architecture or environmentally friendly buildings so that they are not expected to become landmarks/icons of the area with the surrounding environment but also sustainable offices that can serve society optimally and also so that the people in it feel comfortable. An architectural concept that seeks to make bad interactions with the natural and human environment and produce a better and healthier place to live, which is done by utilizing energy and natural resources efficiently and optimally. Betawi's wealth of art and culture supports the creation of ornaments that are characteristic of Betawi architecture, these ornaments are not only to decorate buildings but also have a philosophy in the life of the Betawi people. Some of the ornaments found in the Betawi traditional house, one of which is the "tooth balang" which is a typical Betawi ornament. Keywords: Mayor's office, Office, Green Architecture Pertambahan penduduk telah menjadi isu seluruh belahan dunia, jumlah penduduk yang terus meningkat memiliki dampak negatif yang dapat memicu berbagai permasalahan. Untuk itu Pemerintah Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat secara terus-menerus melakukan pembenahan, baik dari segi aspek fisik, sosial maupun perekonomian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Keberadaan kantor Walikota Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat dianggap kurang memadai untuk mendukung kebijakan pembangunan dan pelayanan masyarakat diberbagai bidang. Demi menciptakan sebuah pelayanan yang optimal kepada masyarakat, salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilannya adalah dengan melihat segala aspek yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat dan fungsional bangunan tersebut. Selain permasalahan sosial yang diterjadi akibat dari pertumbuhan penduduk yang terus meningkat tidak terlepas juga pertumbuhan pembangunan gedung terutama gedung pemerintahan berkembang pesat. Isu tentang permasalahan lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dari dampak pembangunan gedung pemerintahan di Indonesia pada saat ini seperti degradasi lingkungan, pemanasan global, krisis energi dan air. Salah satu konsep yang saat ini sedang berkembang di dunia dalam menangani permasalahan kota adalah konsep arsitektur hijau atau arsitektur ramah lingkungan. Untuk itu muncul adanya konsep green architecture yaitu pendekatan perencanaan arsitektur yang berusaha meminimalisasi berbagai pengaruh membahayakan pada kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Kantor Walikota Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat yang baru, seharusnya dapat mencerminkan arsitektur lokal (Betawi) Jakarta, serta bangunan gedung yang mengusung konsep Green Architecture atau bangunan yang ramah lingkungan sehingga diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi landmark/icon kawasan dengan lingkungan sekitar namun juga menjadi kantor yang berkelanjutan dapat melayani masyarakat dengan optimal dan juga sehingga manusia yang ada di dalamnya merasa nyaman. Konsep arsitektur yang berusaha meminimalkan pengaruh buruk terhadap lingkungan alam maupun manusia dan menghasilkan tempat hidup yang lebih baik dan lebih sehat, yang dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan sumber energi dan sumber daya alam secara efisien dan optimal. Kekayaan Betawi akan seni dan budaya mendukung terciptanya ornamen-ornamen yang menjadi ciri khas pada arsitektur Betawi, ornamenornamen tersebut tak hanya sebagai penghias bangunan namun juga memiliki falsafah dalam kehidupan masyarakat Betawi. Beberapa ornamen yang terdapat pada rumah adat Betawi salah satunya adalah "gigi balang” ini adalah ornamen khas Betawi. Kata Kunci: Kantor Walikota, Kantor, Green Architecture
