Abstract
One aspect of product design is to promote goods and commercial services through the medium of visual communication to achieve the goal. Mbimbemshop an online business that was founded in the year 2010 engaged in the provision of purchasing goods online services, which focus more products to women accesories. Looking at the development of online business services are growing rapidly and many emerging competitors, required creative effort to promote recall of existing media campaign on mbimbemshop very little. Then arise the question of how to make better known mbimbemshop and maintain its existence, through the design of the communication medium in accordance with the design criteria?. Through visual media designed community expected will get to know where mbimbemshop. The method used in this design method data collection, which consists of the methods of observation, interviews, literature, documentation and internet. From the data obtained and analyzed. Media were made to promote mbimbemshop consist of Logo, Flyer, XBanner, and so forth. The basic concept design used is themed "Lifestyle" by trying to create a new lifestyle of the beautiful connotations. Through designed media campaign that is expected to lead to consumer appeal in using mbimbemshop services so as to maintain the existence of the against its rival. Keyword : Media Promotion, Online Shop, Social Media Salah satu aspek desain produk adalah mempromosikan barang dan jasa secara komersil melalui media komunikasi visual untuk mencapai tujuan. Mbimbemshop sebuah usaha online yang berdiri pada tahun 2010 berkecimpung dalam penyediaan jasa pembelian barang online, yang fokus produknya lebih kepada accesories perempuan. Melihat perkembangan jasa usaha online yang berkembang pesat dan banyak bermunculan pesaing, diperlukan usaha kreatif yang untuk melakukan promosi mengingat media promosi yang ada pada mbimbemshop sangat sedikit. Maka timbul pertanyaan bagaimana membuat mbimbemshop lebih dikenal dan menjaga eksistensinya, melalui perancangan media komunikasi yang sesuai dengan kreteria desain?. Melalui media visual yang dirancang diharapkan masyarakat akan lebih mengenal keberadaan mbimbemshop. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data, yang terdiri dari metode observasi, wawancara, kepustakaan, dokumentasi dan internet. Dari data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa. Media yang dibuat untuk mempromosikan mbimbemshop terdiri dari Logo, Flyer, X-Banner, dan lain sebagainya. Konsep dasar perancangan yang digunakan yaitu bertema “Lifestyle” dengan mencoba membuat new lifestyle mengenai konotasi cantik. Melalui media promosi yang dirancang diharapkan menimbulkan daya tarik konsumen dalam menggunakan jasa mbimbemshop sehingga dapat menjaga eksistensi dalam menghadapi pesaingnya.
