Abstract
Developments in the current technological era are very strong and have high competitiveness, of course companies need human resources who can contribute to the development of innovation for competition in the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to determine the relationship between employee engagement with innovative work behavior at PT. XYZ. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 90 employees, using a non-probability technique with a accidental sampling model. The instrument in this study used a measuring tool from UWES-9 proposed by Schaufeli & Bekker (2004) to measure employee engagement, and used De Jong and Hartog (2008) to measure innovative work behavior. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between employee engagement and innovative work behavior of employees at PT. XYZ which shows that the higher the employee engagement obtained, the higher the innovative work behavior possessed by employees. This research is expected to be used as a reference for employees and companies regarding the importance of having idea exploration, idea generation, idea championing and idea implementation to help companies achieve their goals. Keyword : Employee Engagement, Innovative Work Behavior, UWES-9, Generation Millennial and Generation Z Perkembangan pada era teknologi saat ini sangatlah kuat dan mempunyai daya saing yang tinggi, tentunya perusahaan membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang dapat memberikan sumbangsihnya dalam pengembangan inovasi untuk persaingan pada era revolusi industry 4.0 saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara employee engagement.dengan perilaku kerja inovatif di PT.XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 90 karyawan, dengan menggunakan teknik non-probality dengan model accidental sampling yang Instrument dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur dari UWES-9 yang dikemukakan oleh Schaufeli & Bekker (2004) untuk mengukur employee engagement, dan menggunakan alat ukur milik De Jong dan Hartog (2008) untuk mengukur perilaku kerja inovatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara employee engagement.dengan perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan di PT. XYZ yang menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi employee engagement.yang di dapat, maka akan semakin tinggi pula perilaku kerja inovatif yang dimiliki oleh karyawan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebuah acuan pada para karyawan dan perusahaan mengenai pentingnya memiliki idea exploration, idea generation, idea championing dan idea implementation untuk membantu perusahaan dalam pencapaian tujuan.
