Abstract

The automatic vulcanizing steel treatment machine is a machine that will be made in this final project to reduce the defect of the connection change treatment that still exists today, this defect costs the company 1.4 M per year. The machine process that will be made is a vulcanizing steel treatment process, namely by saving the compound contained in the steel treatment. The system is made using eletropneumatic components, including boxes, relays, 3 Phase MCB, TOR, pust button, pilot lamp, electric valve, wind regulator, pneumatic cylinder, electric motor, limit switch, emergency pust button before physically stringing it together. try using the fluidsim software first. After the circuit is successfully simulated in the software, the devices are connected to each other using an electrical cable so that they become one in the control system unit, then combined with several mechanical components. Based on the results of one-day machine testing and one-month testing at different times, the vulcanizing steel treatment machine results in the number of compounds that can be reused by 36% of the total initial weight. With an average work cycle time of 30 seconds. of the amount for 1 month by using this machine the benefits generated are Rp. 9,141,145,- per month or Rp.109,693,740,- per year. With this benefit ratio, the number of defects can be reduced and used to make flaps. Keywords: Elektropneumatic, Software fluidsim, Steel Treatment, Steel cutting. Mesin automatic vulcanizing steel treatment merupakan mesin yang akan di buat dalam tugas akhir ini untuk mengurangi defect sambungan ganti treatment yang masih ada sampai saat ini, defect ini merugikan perusahaan sebesar 1,4 M pertahun. Proses mesin yang akan dibuat adalah sebuah proses vulcanizing steel treatment yaitu dengan menyelamatkan compound yang terdapat pada steel treatment. Sistem yang di buat menggunakan komponen-komponen eletropneumatic, meliputi kotaktor, relay, MCB 3 Phase, TOR, pust button, pilot lamp, electric valve, regulator angin, cylinder pneumatic, motor listrik, limit switch, emergency pust button sebelum merangkai secara fisik dilakukan uji coba menggunakan software fluidsim terlebih dahulu. Setelah rangkaian berhasil di simulasi di software, maka perangkat tersebut di hubungkan satu sama lain menggunakan kabel listrik sehingga menjadi satu ke satuan sistem control, kemudian di satukan dengan beberapa komponen mekanik. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian mesin satu hari dan satu bulan pengujian pada waktu yang berbeda, pada mesin vulcanizing steel treatment di dapatkan hasil jumlah compound yang dapat di manfaatkan kembali sebesar 36% dari total berat awal. Dengan cycle time pengerjan rata-rata sebesar 30 detik. dari jumlah selama 1 bulan dengan menggunakan mesin ini manfaat yang di hasilkan sebesar Rp. 9.141.145,- per bulan atau Rp.109.693.740,- per tahun. Dengan rasio manfaat ini jumlah defect dapat di kurangi dan di manfaatkan untuk dibuat menjadi flap. Kata kunci: Elektropneumatic, Software fluidsim, Steel Treatment, Steel cutting.
