Abstract
The documentary film “Prajurit Pari Gisik” is a documentary film that portrays the lives of coastal sea farmers, precisely in the Cilamaya Kulon area, Karawang, like Mr. Irin. This documentary tells the story of the lives of coastal sea farmers who are still working to meet their daily needs and produce food such as rice amidst the vulnerability of sea water and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. In making this documentary, the writer acts as a cameraman, in taking pictures using the Five C's Of Cinematography Technique, where there are several shooting techniques commonly referred to as The Five C's of Cinematography including Camera Angels, Continuity, Cutting, Close Up, Composition. With the documentary film “Prajurit Pari Gisik”, it is hoped that the public will realize that there are many values of life that may be forgotten and pay more attention to that there is still much to be considered out there, especially during this pandemic regarding the food we consume, namely rice produced by farmers. Keywords: Documentary Film, Coastal Farmer, Cameraman. Film documenter “Prajurit Pari Gisik” adalah film documenter potret kehidupan petani pesisir laut tepatnya yang berada dikawasan Cilamaya Kulon, Karawang seperti pak Irin. Film documenter ini menceritakan kisah kehihdupan petani pesisir laut yang masih bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya serta menghasilkan bahan pangan seperti beras ditengah rawannya air laut dan masa pandemi Covid-19 yang berlangsung menerpa. Dalam pembuatan film documenter ini penulis yang berperan sebagai juru kamera , dalam pengambilan gambar menggunakan Teknik Five C’s Of Cinematography, dimana terdapat beberapa teknik pengambilan gambar yang biasa disebut dengan istilah The Five C’s of Cinematography diantaranya Camera Angels, Continuity, Cutting, Close Up, Composision Dengan adanya film documenter “Prajurit Pari Gisik” diharapkan masyarakat sadar bahwa banyak nilai-nilai kehidupan yang mungkin terlupakan dan lebih memperhatikan bahwa masih banyak yang harus diperhatikan diluar sana khususnya dimasa pandemi ini terkait bahan pangan yang kita konsumsi yaitu beras yang dihasilkan oleh para petani.
